It’s written clearly that the metal is brass, with a coating. The mistake was mine, not the sellers. Ordered children's birthstones as stackable rings. Very sparkly and comfy. One ring was missing a stone but was replaced quickly therefore the 4 rather than 5 star. Update Aug 31. Many of the stones have fallen out with daily wear. Still pretty but more appropriate to wear for special occasions.
