Beautiful quality - I love my sheets and they have definitely helped me sleep better in our summer nights in NZ - they have helped cool down the tempur mattress ( which is supposed to have a cool gel somewhere in there but has been more like a sauna and I had been previously constantly flicking off and on my sheet and just not getting a restful sleep even with an aircon on all night) The tempur mattress is not deep so the 15in pocket has been perfect. The flat sheet could be a little wider though as on washing there seemed to be some shrinkage and rated down a star for that reason. I have washed these using a delicate silk cycle on cold and used a delicate laundry wash in a mesh bag and they are as soft as when they were new. It is also ridiculously easy to make the bed compared to cotton sheets. I do find though if I have any slight roughness on my heels it will catch so I find I have to file constantly or I don't think these sheets will stand up to those sorts of rigours. Overall wish I'd got these earlier even with the exchange rate at the moment. ... show more

I read many of these reviews before purchasing and I have to say they are total BS. First, the king sheets do not have a seam in the middle, they are cut from 1 piece of fabric. Second, these sheets are 100% silk.

    • Nice fabric, fitted sheet seems a bit large
A little pricey, but comfortable to sleep on. The pillowcases have a nice pocket so they don't slide off. The fitted sheet really seems a couple of inches too wide for the mattress, but I see that a lot so I don't know for sure if it's my mattress or these sheets. I also do have a little trouble with my bedspread sliding off of the top sheet, but that's going to happen any time the fabric is smooth. One side effect of the fitted sheet being a bit large is that it wrinkles pretty easily, but that may improve with wear. ... show more

I ordered these because I have been wanting super soft sheets for the longest time. My friend had silk sheets in college and I don't even think they were real silk. I pulled these out of the packaging and immediately knew I had to throw them on my bed and lay down. Unbelievably comfortable. Last night was some of the comfiest sleep I've had in a long time. I'm going to need to get a new mattress now just to really enjoy the comfort. I will update in the future if I have any issues with these sheets, but as for right now they are amazingly comfortable. ... show more

When you spend this type of money on a set of sheets, you really expect them to last longer. Bottom fitted sheet despite being bagged and seperated at wash still managed to tear and rip apart from what I would call normal use. Now I know what it's like to sleep on silk sheets. Amazing! I live natural fibers and used to go for high tv 100% Egyptian cotton. Percale. These silk sheets are smooth but not slippery. They are warm to the touch while still being breathable. I had my doubts but no longer. Nothing like satin. Satin is slippery & cold and synthetic. I highly recommend! ... show more

These are AMAZING!!! They are exactly what I think of when I think “silk.” I don’t think they are too slippery. Silky, buttery, creamy smooth - definitely. But I did not find myself sliding off the bed. Nope. I woke up and caught myself smiling in bliss! :) I ordered sand and it’s a beautiful light champagne color. Pretty close to Taihu Snow champagne. I purchased the deep 17” pocket because the last set of sheets I bought said “15” and it constantly came off. I think I probably should have gone with the 15” but I like how much I have to tuck in for extra support. It does make it looks a little saggy but I’m ok with that, so long as the corner doesn’t snap out. I also received a coupon for special detergent to use so I am going to try that when I wash them for the first time. Will update then! ... show more

A couple of years ago, I went to China to interact with the baby Giant Pandas. At the end of the trip, I went to a silk museum and shop and saw the silk worms eating the mulberry leaves and how the cocoons were spun into silk threads. Amazing story. If I hadn't spent so much seeing the Pandas, I would have bought a silk pillow. I'm sold on the temperature regulating quality of silk. I wanted to start by purchasing the silk sheet set first. Did my homework and settled on Mulberry Park Silks. The sheet set is luxurious. It is the best. I plan to buy another set in queen size, and silk pillows when my shrimp boat comes in.
