These are the best of 3 brands I have tried. The largest size are still a little snug. They are great for bedroom slippers, but I like them so much that I started wearing them a lot. The sole which looks like thin plastic covered fabric, (although it might be paper thin leather covered fabric) wore through in a little while. Cold comes through the thin soles on a cold floor. I glued 1/2"upholstery foam on the bottoms and trimmed it. Now they are warmer and more comfortable. Cushy in fact. I like them better than Hanes Slipper House Shoes (too clunky) and ONCAI Indoor Slipper Boots (too warm and too tight). ... show more

I'm preparing to buy a second pair of MUK LUKS Men's Morty Ragg Wool Slipper (Navy) and figured I'd leave a review. It's been almost two years since I bought my first pair, which I typically wear over thick wool socks. Let's approximate the cold months where I live being between late October and early March, and I wear them around the house nearly all my waking hours, since I work from home (floors are tile in the bathrooms, vinyl in the kitchen, and carpet elsewhere). That would equate to: ~16 hours/day x ~30 days/month x ~5 months/year x ~2 years = ~4,800 hours - a rounded margin of error = ~4,500 hours At $30 per pair, I'd say ~4,500 hours of effective use is a phenominal value. This isn't even to say that there is no life left in them, it's just that there is a hole developing in the outer layer across one of the big toes. I have no other experience with "feet sweaters" to compare with, but I'm happy enough that I won't bother trying a different product, which I normally enjoy doing. ... show more

I have never really been a slippers guy. Since I started working from home and rarely leaving my house, I figured slippers may be a move. I dreamed of the perfect comfort - warmth - support balance that everyone looks for in their first adult slipper purchase. I spent countless hours looking for just the right pair, something that looks cozy yet somehow has some form of professionalism. Slippers that would look nice if my children’s friends saw me wearing them. I don’t have kids yet, but would like to have some at some point. Eventually my search came to an end, as I thought I had found the perfect slipper. The mukluk sagg slipper. I ordered them, and awaited their arrival nervously as I had never had adult slippers at this point of my life. They arrived, I wore them for the first day and they nailed the warmth aspect I was looking for. Not too warm that my feet are sweaty, making the insides gross, but not too cold to wear I would prefer to be wearing shoes in my home whilst working. To say the least, the temperature of these slippers was great. However, I did wish that they fit a little more snug around my foot. I wanted a foot high, like the hug you give your high school best friend that you haven’t seen in a long time and you are so excited to once again catch-up. But instead got the foot hug of the grandmother who is in a wheelchair, too old to remember what she had for breakfast let alone your name. Your mom tells you to give her a hug and kiss before you leave the nursing home to only return a month later. Not a loose hug, but not firm as her bones are fragile. Essentially just wrapping around enough to qualify as a hug. Like the hug that you nervously give your crush at the middle school dance, right after you watch her dance with your friend, Ian, but you want to act like you were just friends anyway and didn’t really mind. Just not the foot hug that I was dreaming of. And lastly, the tag tore off of the heel of the right slipper. I’m not exactly sure that it is the right slipper, I am pretty sure they could be worn on either foot, but I have been wearing this particular slipper on my right foot. The tag ripping off is no big deal, right? Nobody wants that tag there anyways, right? WRONG! Kind of a dumb question but I will forgive it for now. Apparently the structural integrity of this slipper relies on the tag. I wish this slight damage could be looked past and this slipper could still be worn with pride, like the crack in the liberty bell, but the slipper falls apart more and more every day, like the city of Philadelphia. All in all: I would give the slipper an 8/10. But considering the tag fell off and is now falling apart, I am taking off a point, and I am taking off another point because I still think about my friend Ian dancing with my crush at the middle school dance to give this pair of slippers a 6/10. Which results in a 3/5 stars (that’s basic math, you could do it too) ... show more

Do Not Buy these you look at tag under the inside at the heel and you will see a tag and it tells you what it’s made of and the sole that they swear is genuine cow leather from fine leather craftsmen is actually faux leather I wouldn’t even call it pleather at least pleather has a certain thickness too it this feels and looks like cardboard….really disappointed for being a well known name 10-20 years ago called MUK-LUKS. They used to be high quality but sold out to some Chinese corporation. The only reason I’ll keep them is cause I know it will take a year or more for me to wear them down if not longer cause of one major reason I’m in a wheelchair.🤷🏻♂️ I can’t walk but when I was able to walk I wouldn’t of even took them outta the package cause I could see they where cheap and definitely not worth the money and probably would even make it one week of walking in these cheap Chinese mock-ups of the old MUK-LUK’S save your money or for ten dollars more Acorn has real thick leather soles that’ll last you years of warmth and comfort. But if you decide to buy these I will say good luck cause after a week of walking with these you’ll need it.🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️ ... show more

Arrived a day early. These are soft and warm. It’s 30 degrees and I’m in my sunroom. These are keeping my feet nice and warm. I’m a male size 12 and these XL are a perfect fit. Very good price and the insert is nice and soft to walk on. Very good quality slippers.

I love these slippers. They are exactly what I needed for an all day wear. They may seem to be a little difficult to put on at first but if I slid my foot all the way down into the slipper before attempting to pull the collar on, the collar easily pulls on. The slipper has a light cushion in the bed so my feet do not feel like they are walking (touching) directly on the floor. I was concerned that the leather sole might slip on flooring but they do not slip on wood, carpet, concrete or linoleum (do not have any tile for testing). 8/23/15 Update. Since my initial review I have added a pair of Dr. Scholl's Massaging Get Extra Support to my Muk Luks. In addition to giving me that 'gel' feeling they also give me good arch support since I have very high arches. Dr. Scholl recommends replacing them every six months but I doubt I can afford that even though they only cost $14.25 thru Amazon (maybe once a year).. I was concerned that my feet might sweat too much but that has not happened. ... show more
