I got this as a gift for my girlfriend and she loved it. The box it came in was amazing and only helped with the mystery of what was inside. the mug is beautiful and has beautiful colors. The infuser works perfectly with loose tea and transfers the flavors very well. I did have one problem but the seller handled it very well. Removing the mug from the box was amazing except for the fact that the lid or cover of the infuser slipped out and shattered. I contacted the seller and they let me know I could purchase the replacement for a small fee whether it was the price of the item replacement or the cost to ship I was ok. The problem was that they needed picture proof so I had to dig it out of the trash. So Head my warning, KEEP the broken parts and talk to them. They were fantastic to do as much as they did and I would be happy to buy from them again. Definitely a good quality product and phenomenal sales team!! ... show more

    • Beautiful design, but why pretend to be Japanese
I love this cup overall, but the box has Chinese character which gave away that this "Japanese" design is actually a Chinese production. I was looking for a real Japanese made one. Returned.

It is excellent and I love it. Beautifully packed. Unlike other reviewers, I love its small size. This is how cups are in Japan. Only reason this gets 4 stars is cause it’s description dimensions are inaccurate. It is 9.5cm or 3.7 inches tall. Wish they would correct it so customers know it’s true size. ... show more

I've been patient about this product, but the price never deviated. That's says something! Anyways, my Wife loves her tea, and this was an excellent gift for her! She loves it, and typically uses it above anything else now. It seems like a very properly made piece.

Perfect for making loose leaf tea! keeps it nice and warm, easy to use, perfect size and surprisingly comfortable to hold/drink from! Just be cautious if you’re taking it to and from work on a daily basis because a small fall will lead to a broken steeper.

This is on the small side but perfect for me because I’m a bariatric patient and can’t eat or drink much anyway. I got it for coffee and tea and wanted something that would keep my drinks nice and hot, and this works beautifully, with the lid and because it’s stoneware.
