We converted from xtra tuf. When trying to buy new xtra tuf womens boots we found the 7 was too small and the 8 was too large, and there were no half sizes. We later discovered our prior pair was the men's 7, so it must be between the womens 7 and 8. Anyway, we then tried some of the off brands here on amazon, most of these were "deck boots" and didn't really have good traction for the yard, and the quality on those were between marginal, and not good. We tried about 5 variations in the $30-60 range and none of them came close to these MUCK boots. It took some looking before this MUCK ankle boot caught our attention but we are glad we ended up here. This boot and its tread patter is great for the yard, the rubber and construction are premium, as is the comfort. I will say the cuff is a bit more fitted than the xtratuf, so it isn't quite as easy to "slip on" but that could be because we were previously wearing the men's boot (for a women). For us, the great quality and design that is well aligned with yard work, and competitive pricing (in the premium boot market), along with the fact that the womens 7 fit great (when xtratuf women's 7 or 8 did not work for us), we are very happy we ended up with these MUCK boots. ... show more

Very happy I decided on and ordered these boots for my day-to-day farm activities. Super cute and I have even worn them out for errands and gotten compliments on them! The muck boots run very true-to-size with a hair on the snug fit size, so if you are in between sizes or like extra room, I recommend going up a size. These are rubber and are thick so the toe portion adds some protection and these will keep your feet toasty and warm due to the material. Very “stiff” rubber style shoe, so I wouldn’t say these provide incredible arch support and I would not want to walk miles and miles in these. However, they do have good traction for being outside on the farm and in the rain. Would definitely recommend these boots especially since they are easy to slip on and very cute to wear! ... show more

Seem almost perfect, but they 100% run large. I ordered a size 8. I usually wear a size 9 and lined them up with a variety of my other size 9 shoes, and the Muck 8 is the same length as at least 4 other brands size 9. Super comfortable and exactly as pictured. I wear a 7 and there was enough space left in them for thick socks. They have held up so far and I wear the daily out in the backyard and to do chicken coop chores. And I love the loop on the back to slide them on easier. Love, love, love these. I just moved to Western Mass and these are perfect for slushy wintery and muddy rainy days. Easy on and off with the little tab in back. The boots run a bit wide for me, but that's ok since I can slip them on easier. I bought my husband a pair as well and he loves the too.

These are so great for style and comfort. You literally want to live in them and wear them all day. So perfect for all seasons too. Not too warm for summer, and easily layered with thick socks for winter and snow. However, as other reviewers have mentioned, they just don’t hold up for rugged durability. If you are doing heavy yard work on the daily, these aren’t the shoe of choice. Better grab your extra tufs for that. But if you wanna look cute while you ride your lawn mower, or maybe while you set up your tent while camping, these are perfect. I have worn mine nearly every day off (so maybe half a week) for the past like 2 years and they have started to develop a cracks in the creases. ... show more
