For the price, this is excellent. Mine came quickly in a small square tube box. There is a chemical smell when I first unroll it for use. The smell goes away once it’s straightened out but I smell it every time I unroll it. The material is different from my more expensive mat which has more of a leather feel. This one feels more rubbery and synthetic. However, it’s not a bad feel and for a price, I can’t speak I’ll of it. Overall, if you want a really nice leather or leather-like mat, get something more expensive, but if you want something practice and useful, get this. I’m glad I did. ... show more

I gotta say, this thing is pretty great! It matched the color description and looks quality. I was expecting some warped piece of fake leather but was pleasantly surprised and how nice it looked. There was a very light smell (I am very sensitive to smells) but it went away quickly. I can't really speak to the durability of this as I have only had it a few days but it seems good so far. This desk pad is well made, and was a great value for money at 5 or 6 bucks. With positive reviews, the seller may decide to move the price point up. If that happens, there are other listings on Amazon with a greater variety of size and colors.

Photo shows two of them placed next to each other on my lab table that I use for a desk. The blotter requires a few hours to totally "flatten out" when first placing it on a desk or table.After that, it is perfect--and easy to clean.

I think this is perfect for my wfh life. I have been using an antique table for my desk and I noticed it getting worn where I rest my arms. This will protect from and scratch or wear from laptop and natural oils from my skin. Perfect.

Hell of a deal for the price! - Very Well-packaged - No obnoxious logo/branding on the mat - No strong factory plastic-y smell (some Desk pads I've purchased in the past had this) - Sleek Design Overall, I'm very pleased with this, and definitely recommend it.
