Good size and shape for kids. Seems pretty adaptable to a wide range of weights, the bindings are the limiting factor on how large of shoes will fit them. The only downside for long term use is that the rails are made of plastic and after some use on rocks get dulled down pretty easily. The front gripper is steel and holds up better, but is not articulated as on most snowshoes and seems to clog up with snow and weigh the foot down. Fully functional and kids love them! ... show more

My 4- and 6-year-olds had never snowshoed before and they had no trouble picking it up with these snowshoes. The compact design is great and they are very easy to store and travel with. The price on Amazon was better than other options we found when looking around.

Great set of snow shoes for my 7 year old. There are no moving parts on the shoe. They just strap to his boots. They do not pivot like adult snowshoes which makes it easier for him to walk around like little kids do.

We purchased these so my six year old son could join the family snowshoeing. He loves them and they have worked great for his first 2 outings. They keep him on top of the snow, stay secure on his feet and are fairly easy to maneuver in on the snow.
