We then went to the actual Moxi Skate Shop and learned that the ones we ordered were fakes. They didn’t include the tell-tale Moxi designed inserts!     • Moxi Beach Bunny, Lolly or Sure-Grip Boardwalk?

I ordered these Beach Bunnies in periwinkle and LOVED them. They are super snug when you try them on, but follow the sizing on the Moxi site, don't listen to some of the reviews saying they bought their normal size. I am guessing those people did not put them on all the way, lace them up and ride around in their house. I am mostly an 8.5 and I got size 7. I thought my feet were being crushed when I put them on, but they loosened up in the front to back direction with a very thin sock (you should be able to be able to wiggle your toes when you bend your knees in true skate position.). However, after three days of this, they were just too tight around the ball of my foot and I know they won't stretch because they are vinyl :(. Sadly, I looked for other options. I then went with the Sure-Grip Boardwalk, size 7 in purple. These are suede so will stretch. I got them and they felt too big, but I got out a thick sock and tried to love them (I bought them through RollerSkateNation and they wanted $20 restocking fee AND to pay the shipping back!), I really tried to love them...but they just did not glide like the Beach Bunnys and the suede was so stiff and rubbed my ankles to death. They also hurt the back of my legs. So, too torture myself, I got a third option (but through Amazon this time, so I can send them back. Lesson learned). Next option, the super expensive Moxi Lollys. I got them in purple, size 7. First, they are beautiful and not counterfeit, like some say on these site. Someone said that they were supposed to have ABEC 7 bearings and these came with 5 so they were counterfeit. I looked them up on the Moxi site and they say ABEC 5, so I am not sure where they got that idea. Anyway, these are genuine, same box, same skates and come with the skate tool. So, how were they? Oh my god! They are amazing and fit perfectly! I immediately wore them out knowing that I am going to have to buy them and pay that stupid fee to send the Boardwalks back because, well, they really are amazing. The only thing I would mention is that the could have a little more cushioned insole, but I can add one. So, all and all, if you foot was a little more narrow, I would have been completely and utterly happy with the Beach Bunnies, but, since they weren't going to stretch, I had to opt for the more expensive Lolly, but I won't regret it!!!! ... show more

These are so legit & amazing! All the ppl saying they are fakes haven’t done their research. On the Moxi website they admit that there Lolly & Jack skate models (extremely expensive) are made in the USA. The Beach Bunny model...which is this style......is made in China. They are not fakes, they are incredible and stylish and comfortable after the first few rides. They come packaged so so so cute and I would recommend them to an entry level skater who doesn’t want to commit to the $300 dollar price tag. GET EM! Happy rolling! ... show more

I ordered a size down per the recommendation on the official moxi website. Im a size 8, and got a size 7. It fits perfect. Im a beginner adult skater and I think these skates are worth the investment. They are a bit more pricey, but these skates are great quality are absolutely adorable!

I love them! Everything from the packaging, the boot, the plate, the wheels, the laces, to the insole design are amazing. I also love how these are vegan, I've been a longtime fan of riedell and moxi and I'm so excited to finally own a pair of moxis. I will update my review after I break them in with some pictures. One thing is this does not include a tool to adjust your trucks so make sure you have one on hand, Happy Skating! ... show more

I’ve always wanted Moxi’s but just been to expensive for me as a beginner. So delighted they made these!! I wasn’t sure what size chart to follow. I ended up getting a size 8 but I’m a size 9 and they fit perfectly. I have a wider foot and it was a little tight but after breaking them in it’s fine. Just make sure to take the paper out of the front of the toe. Videos that helped me skate are from ROLLER PLANET on YouTube. CHRCK THEM OUT!! Be safe have fun skating. ... show more

The seller my skates came from is Riedell Skates, who owns Moxi. I see a lot of reviews concerning the authenticity so I would just be cautious of who the seller is. I've seen some that are over the $180 and that should be a red flag. The skates came with the toe covers, owners manual, crab tool, and the cute keychain. The trucks and wheels all came just right, nothing too lose or too tight. They definitely need to be broken in but I've skated twice in them and they're already more comfortable so I don't anticipate it being much longer before they feel just right. Im a size 8 1/2 in Nike shoes and Vans and I got these in a 7- the fit is PERFECT. I'm brand new to skating as I grew up skating in roller blades, and these seem easy enough to maneuver in. I bought some Impala skates before these and I very quickly returned them. I like skating in these much more. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. the package arrived sooner than expected (considering it had to fly from USA to Brazil), and everything was in the right order. The skates' more beautiful live than in photos and everything works well. Love it!
