They worked just fine without the plastic inserts on my 2023 Harley Davidson Street Glide. If you have a bike with smaller engine guards you will likely have to use the inserts. The only issue I had was getting them to stay up but a little more tightening and they stay up. See pictures

I would like to say that everything included with this product makes it easy to install on any bike. Even there was no instructions with this product. Any one can install these. This product you would expext to pay twice the amount of what i paid

Pivot point on pegs broke very easily during installation.. don't not buy... the metal is trash. Gets one star because they did look nice

    • Instructions would be nice!
These took way too long to install because they lacked instructions. I've put dozens of after-market parts on my bike but this one was way too complicated simply because there were no instructions. Both pegs originally appeared to be for the right side of the bike but because they are universal, you can turn them opposite ways. Again, instructions would have been nice. You basically have to remove a bolt held with an allen (hex) screw and reverse it before proceeding putting them on the other side. Regardless, they work. Could've and should've been easier. ... show more
