Appears it will cover the hole and last. As long as you cut the hole for the exact size of the panel, it should fit with ease. I tried to cut corners and it ended up taking longer than it should have. It's pretty simple to install if you do it right the first time. And it looks pretty nice.

Serves the purpose of patching a hole in sheetrock. I had a water line leak and the Plumber had to cut through some sheetrock to fix it and rather than patch and paint it, I decided to use this access panel. The Plumber cut a almost perfect 12 x 12 square after his repair and this access panel did the trick. An inexpensive and useful method to patch the sheetrock in my partiucular case.
