I bought this knife to supplement my basic hand tools for woodworking. It is an excellent knife for basic carving needs. I would recommend this to a friend, especially for the price. Word of warning: this knife is very sharp right out of the box, so be careful!

Really loved the Morakniv carving knife. Very comfortable to hold and incredibly sharp. Knife did come with a bit of a bur still attached to the end of the blade but was able to strop it off with a leather strop. Very happy with the purchase and will enjoy this carver for years i am sure.

I love this knife!!! This is my main carver. It is very sharp and holds an edge fairly well. Awesome beginner-intermediate carving knife. I definitely recommend it!

This is a great knife for roughing out carvings. I'm not sure I would recommend it for beginners, it is long and works great but very easy to cut yourself unless you are experienced. Mora knife also has a shorter blade, the 120 which is also a great knife but shorter.

Simply the best. Careful if you are used to the short version (I have 3), the tip will fly a bit if you use careless pressure on the spine.

The Knife is very good, it is carbon steel so you will have to sharpen often to keep the edge sharp , the Plastic sheath is not very good, I would not recommend , i find the knife does not hold tight , and falls out easily. I made my own sheath. Mora knifes are great , I have a few favorites I use daily. ... show more
