I didn't expect this ring to be as nice as it is, but I really like it and it fits me well. The ring looks authentic and quite beautiful night or day under the light, although the gemstones are not highly cut where you would have tons of sparkle, but you have a decent amount. The design is what is really unique and attractive, and the stones aren't tiny - a good size - but not huge and gaudy or cumbersome either. They are just right. I don't think I've ever seen ruby and garnet together with their different shades of red, but it actually works well when alternated. The stones are cut in the shape of hearts, with three brighter red ruby stones facing one direction and two darker red garnets facing the other. They are placed in the fittings securely so I think wouldn't come out easily even if bumped. The ring metal is made of sterling silver covered with 18K yellow gold plating, and I checked - the price is on par with other similar material rings that actually had fewer stones. So it seems a good value. And it comes in a charming cylindrical ring box, so also would make a great gift! Overall, it is quite a beautiful ring that I have received several compliments on already and enjoy wearing frequently. ... show more

I have large hands for a woman, and due to my work rarely wear rings. I’ve been wearing this since it arrived. I even wore it to bed. I have been showing it to all my friends. Garnet is my birthstone so it’s the perfect ring for me. I love the deep maroon colors and am so happy the band is gold. I was so excited that the ring is in a size that will fit one of my fingers! The ring is so pretty with the sparkly stones. Quality is excellent. The stones all appear to be held firmly in their prongs. I love that the ring is feminine and simple. It doesn’t stick out where I will catch it on things which for me is always a bonus. The metal is good quality. It does have a marking on the inside band to identify the 925 sterling that has the gold plating. It’s a comfortable very wearable ring, and really pretty. This ring is beautiful.
