Fairly easy install if you have the right tools, I bought this after a $1,000 quote from the local shop. Cost for the whole project at home around $350 and took about an hour plus some assembly and measuring time. One big tip, buy a fresh can of PB Blaster, 100k+ miles and 20 years the nuts and ends were all seized up. Excursion finally has tight steering again, just need to follow up the work with an alignment (figure an extra $100). ... show more

I had a loose tie rod end on my truck which was noticeable in the steering. This Moog part appears to be well-built and made of quality material. Time of course will tell, but I don't expect to have any problems with it. Good product and fits per specifications.

Looks to be a good item. Stamped with moog problem solver. Came with boot, nut, cutter and zerk. Boot seems kinda cheezy (loose-ish fit). I've heard mixed reviews about moog joints being tight, and/or short lived. Will update if it fails my one ton 4by.

As usual, this Moog Tie Rod End is well-made and fit my 04 Ford Super Duty perfectly. I always recommend Moog. They are manufactured to tight tolerances and have a very good lifespan.
