Moog makes a new part better then OEM parts they are problem solvers. When changing out a outer and inner tie rod end on the outer count the turns when removing the tie rod end an it will be close when you finish you will still need to get front end alignment so your vehicle will drive straight and the steering wheel will straight again ... show more

As always, Moog delivers a high quality product. These went on my 2005 PT Cruiser. Just remember to remove the factory safety ring that slides over the factory ends. These are not used with the Moogs and should be discarded. You should have the tie rod end right up against the adjustment nut. Also love the typical Moog grease fittings.     • Great for our 2002 PT Cruiser
I installed a set of these on our 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser a month ago. The build quality was great and it included replacement nuts so you didn't have to reuse the old one. They come pre-greased, but you may want to squeeze a bit more in just to make sure it's full (mine were). Be sure to secure the grease plug. It's worth noting that these are not the same length as the OEM part. This means that you wont be able to do the paint or the counting trick to know how far to install them. Had to TAP the threads on the Tie Rod in order to screw the Zerk in..... Pretty poor quality control on such a minor thing. But if I didn't have a Tap set, the zerk and eventually the tie rod would be useless.
