  • It's a suspension component...
I ordered two of these for use on a 2001 dodge ram 1500 4x4 sport for the tie rod and drag link, among many other parts to replace the front suspension. Both of these adjusting sleeves I received are identical part numbers and seem to be the same part and were delivered at the same time. However, one was made in Canada and the other was made in China. Surprisingly, the one made in China has a more complete, thicker coating and looks "nicer" than the one that was made in Canada. For this inconsistency and the fact that 99% of the other Moog parts I ordered for this were made in the USA, I'm docking a star. I have not installed them yet but they look and feel sturdy. I'm sure they'll do the job like the rusty OEM ones have for the last 17 years that I'm about to replace. ... show more

  • Nice upgrade
This adjusting sleeve looks and feels beefier than the stock one. MOOG parts are a great upgrade at a reasonable price.

  • Good replacement part
Good replacement part, nothing special but quality replacement for those in need of a repair.

  • Made incorrectly, Bad Quality
Terrible quality. Wasn't made straight or correctly. No problem with installation. But when you adjust / tighten the sleeve the tie rod end and center link moves up and down because the sleeve tube is not straight. I first thought it was cross threaded and took it apart twice and inspected the threads, they were clean. Each side threads in smoothly when done separately, but when trying to mate them it wobbles when threading and not easy to turn. Plus a wheel alignment wouldn't work with that. The place I took my vehicle for an alignment wouldn't do it because of the inferior sleeve. Unfortunately I had to pay a service charge. I guess it was made incorrectly. Can't return it because I already installed it. I'll go to a local auto store and purchase another one. Product was poorly made. Maybe it was a cheap aftermarket and MOOG sold it as their own product. Better off paying less at Auto Zone and get a better quality product. Don't buy Moog. ... show more
