The quality of plastic is good, stands up to rough kid play, and the kinetic sand makes it a lot of fun with easy cleanup. The arena is a great idea. I bought this as a Christmas present for my 3 yo grandson as he is a huge monster truck fan. However, I was very disappointed in the quality. The arena walls and ramps do not attach and stay attached. Therefore, the arena kept coming apart.
