This is what I have always called "curling ribbon." I use it on all kinds of things because it adds a lot of festive decoration for pennies per use. This set came with two identical rolls, each with 250 yards of ribbon for a total of 500 yards. This should last me a good long time. This ribbon is exactly what I was expecting, it is shiny, smooth, strong and easy to work with. You can curl it up tightly or loosely or tie it in a bow around a gift. It is useful for more than just balloons. On boxed gifts I criss-cross several layers of ribbon around the gift (for more effect, since this ribbon is so thin) then top it off with a fluffy clump of curled ribbon. I also use it to make big curly bows I tie onto gift bags. You can also add it to homecoming mums, parade decorations, etc. I chose white this time, I seem to use a lot of white, I guess because it is such an all-purpose color that I mix in with other colors, so I use it with red and green at Christmas, with pink or blue for a baby gift, with red or pink at Valentine's day, etc. Overall this ribbon is just what I was expecting and 500 yards at this price is a good value. ... show more
