Initial impressions are it is well constructed and classy but the paper seems a bit thin. This is my first "project planner" so I don't have anything to compare it to but I like the flexibility that the layout offers. I'm using it to manage a business start-up and it seems like it will be a good fit for such a task. I like to write with a Sharpie Pen and I get some bleed through and "shadowing". Also, I'm not sure if the paper is coated because it's not quite and matte or cardstock finish. It's a little smoother like newsprint paper. Pencil lead will smear but a standard ball-point pen does not. I would give it 5 stars if the paper characteristics were a little better but I would and probably will be buying more. ... show more

This is my go to project planner for the year. I specifically like it that whenever I need one, I don't have to start at the beginning of January as I get to dictate the start dates for my planner. I like the multiple ways to manage planning, yearly, 4 month planning at a view, monthly, weekly, etc. This works perfectly for project managers that manage multiple projects. This is great for me being in technology, in particular. I have an area to take notes, brainstorm workflows, etc. Love this. I highly recommend this! ... show more

My only complaint about this planner is that there are no instructions or guidance to help you know what some of the pages are for. When it comes to planning/organizing, I surely need the extra guidance! Consequently, I'm using them my way, which probably isn't the way they were intended. I love the journal and find myself much better organized when I stick to using it. The one thing I wish they would add is tabs. I made my own so that's okay, but it would be cool if it came with some. There are SO many sections and moving parts to this journal, the tabs make it easier to get around quickly.
