The number of o-rings inside of your spout will vary depending on the model. It is essential to identify the model of the faucet in order to obtain the proper Moen service kit with the correct spout o-rings for your model; and different models utilize different sizes of o-rings. When replacing the o-rings, clean the inside of the spout and the outside of the valve body. We also recommend lubricating the spout o-rings with silicone-based grease (Moen part number 99915, included with o-ring kits). Do not use plumber's grade faucet grease, silicon sprays or any lubricant that may contain petroleum. Petroleum based lubricants may react with the rubber seals and could cause the spout to become difficult to operate. Also, the correct cartridge will need to be identified and replaced.For pullout or pulldown faucets:Replacing the appropriate cartridge for your model of faucet should resolve the issue.

I selected this faucet for my 2 piece guest bathroom, off my living room. The room is small with just a toilet and pedestal sink. When the faucet arrived, I was immediately concerned about the size of the faucet. This is no tiny faucet. The faucet has a good deal of weight and size behind it. It is constructed of all metal. The biggest issue I had with it's appearance, is that it is very tall. I didn't have an issue with it splashing outside of the sink, but it did make the sink look freakishly small... I will likely take this faucet off the pedestal sink and install it in a different bathroom with a large double vanity. The installation was fairly painless. The water hoses come pre-attached and are plenty long. This sink also comes with a cover plate in case you are installing it on a 3 hole sink. The cover plate could have been a tad larger. The cover plate barely covered the three holes, on my small pedestal sink. The only issue I ran into during installation was inserting the drain lever through the faucet to below the sink. In the instructions, the first thing you are told to do is to install the faucet and tighten it to the sink. Unfortunately, once you tighten the faucet to the sink, you can no longer fit the.drain lever through the sink hole. I had to loosen the faucet and re-tighten it after installing the drain. As a whole, I am very impressed with this faucet. It has a high polished chrome finish, which accents it's modern sleek lines. It has a beautiful contemporary feel, without being overly complicated. The water flows nicly out of the faucet in a gentle manner, so splashing is not an issue. If you have a nice substantially size vanity with a modern or simplistic theme, this faucet in s definitely worth considering. ... show more

Decent quality materials and functionality. Looks are good and as advertised. However, brand new the water flow is way way below the 1.2 gpm advertised. Moen refuses to take any responsibility or offer any solution. If I was able to remove and replace without hiring a plumber again it would go back to them. Note also, the filter is located at the coupling to the water line (thus awkward to clean). Don't count on Moen answering the phone like they did years ago. Put on wait forever. I regret buying this item and it’s worse that I read the problem from the review and ignored it. Be ready for water stains. The tap looks nasty all the time because any water that touches it leaves a stain. I haven’t seen a problem like this before & even the cheaper one I replaced never did that. I regret replacing it and would’ve happily thrown this one away if not for the labor costs to replace it. I will surely do that by next year. By the way, the water from it doesn’t run, it drips but enough to wash your hands. The water stains is what bugs me most. ... show more

Absolutely beautiful designed. I was really happy in the description where it states it fits 3 hole vanities but must be I missed that it only fits 3 hole vanities with a 4" spread, not those with an 8" spread which is what I have. Really bummed that it didn't work out but thought the detail specification could have been much more clear. Caused me to have to run to Home Depot to quickly find an alternative and unfortunately my options there were extremely limited. ... show more

This faucet looks nice, but it not easy to use. The spout sits to0 low. You practically are up against the sink when washing your hands and you splash water everywhere when using it. I would not purchase this faucet again. In fact I am actively looking for a replacement and I have only had this faucet about 4 months. It is in the master bathroom, so I use it all the time. I could live with it if it was a powder bath or guest bath, but it isn't, so I am irritated by it every day. ... show more

    • Water flow is weak

The faucet is pretty but it does not have good water flow. I actually purchased 3 and I installed the first one and am not happy with the water flow. I am also not happy with the fact that faucet arm is too short and water is squirted on to the counter. I am replacing the 2 faucets that were not yet installed and have already found a faucet that flows stronger and has a longer arm. I re-installed the Genta faucet in my basement bathroom which is used for the guest room and therefore need not be perfect. ... show more
