As a mother of 4, I forever searched for solutions to fix annoying shower curtain and drapery rings from sticking and catching on curtain rods. I wanted something that would allow rings to slide Quietly and Smoothly across the rods without getting stuck at the joint or dragging across the rod loudly. I tried several slides, pulls, wands and nothing worked quit like I wanted it to. Our slide is extra thick with an adhesive sticky membrane on one side allowing it to stick to most surfaces without damaging. Long lasting even with daily use. It will work on most curtain rods including telescoping and fluted rods.Installation: Easy & quick to install. For best results clean the top of the rod with Included alcohol whips. Works absolutely perfect. I first made the mistake of cutting it too short. It must be installed all the way across the entire rod. I have it on three rods and all glide like butter! I purchased these for the curtains on our patio door and it was the best purchase! Our patio door gets used a lot everyday. My kids and husband would just yank on the curtains which would pull the curtain rod despite screwing them tight and even short gluing the rod to the bracket. I was tired of having to push it back or if I didn’t the rod would fall. Adding this was easy and makes our curtains glide easily over the rod. I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I’m here and If there were more than 5 stars to give, I would. This stuff took my frustrating to move ring hung curtains and made them the smoothest gliding, quiet, joy to open and close. You can’t notice it unless you’re really looking for it, and it was super easy to put on (I took the rod down and moved all the rings to one side, put the tape on as much as I could then slid them down to the other side and did the rest of the rod). Awesome quality, look, and value. I’m admittedly super picky, I like quality at a decent price, and this one hits the mark- I would definitely buy again and recommend. ... show more

I have a 10ft ceiling in the living room and hung my curtains recently. Right after I hung them, I noticed how hard it was for me to slide my curtains across the curtain rod at the joints. It's also due to how high the rods were hung off of the floor (I have a similar curtain rods in the bedroom, and I only hung it around 8ft off the floor. I had no issues to pull my curtains because I was able to lift it up a bit when I pull so the curtains rings just 'jump' through the joints) . I did some research online and came across this product. With a little hesitation, I placed an order on the 24 ft one because my curtains rods are 180 inches long. I installed it according to the instruction right after I received it. A small tip I used is that I first used some tape to tape down my curtain rods to the floor after I took them down, so they don't roll around when I apply this product. Then I pulled the length needed for my rods plus a few extra inches, and then use painter's tape again to tape it to the spot I want it to be applied to. I used a few small pieces of tapes along the rod to do it so when I peeled off the red backing and press it down to my rod, I can ensure it'd form a straight line from one end of the rod to the other. Then I just did a small section at a time - cleaned the rod with the wipe, waited until it's dry, peeled the red backing, and pressed this product down to make sure it adhered to the rod. After doing all of these, I put up my rods and curtains right away and gave it a try. It worked like a wonder!! Not only the curtain rings had no problem going over where the rods joined, it also became so quiet because my metal curtain rings are no longs sliding on the metal curtain rods, which helps to reduce the noise.     • Measure the width of your rod

Make sure to measure the width of your rod. Mine was too thin, the tape doesn’t bend and I had edges of the tape sticking straight out on both sides. Otherwise seems like a useful product. I’ll use it for something else.
