Look, if you have to cut the cheese, this is the least stinky way to go. I love this knife for all kinds of cutting. I give this to friends as gifts. Honestly, it's a knife every kitchen should have. I have other Cutco knives, they're OK. This one is a keeper.

This is my favorite knife in the drawer. It can peel a ripe tomato with ease and slice it paper thin. It is extremely sharp and will cut your skin if it gets in the way. I hand wash it and store it in the cardboard sleeve that came with it. Would definitely buy it again and have recommended it to others. CUTCO knives are guaranteed for life, so if it should become dull or the handle crack, they will replace it for free. So worth the price I paid for his item. ... show more

It's on the pricey side, but this knife is fantastic for, ahem, cutting the cheese. I think I paid around 80 bucks for it but with the amount of entertaining I do along with the usual charcuterie plate displays, this knife is great. Also, it's sharper than you think--which I found out the hard way by opening up a decent cut on my finger a few weeks back. My parents have had this knife for years and I’ve always admired it but couldn’t wrap my head around spending around $100 on a knife...well, that changed and I wish I had bought it after first knowing how superior it is. Yeah, it cuts cheese better than anything ever but it goes way beyond that. I don’t know of a more versatile knife and it never dulls!
