I bought a lot of shoes this year and last year. This is the first time buying from this name brand. These shoes are tight, but as all shoes when I buy them they are a little tight. Have to wear them in. I wear 8.5 men and narrow feet and these are exactly that. I measured one thumb space between my big toe and the front which is how to measure if your shoe is right size. So I just took them out for my first run this past weekend, I ran 8 miles and they are so comfortable, my would say they are more cushioned than the Wave Ryders 27 and it feels a bit more slower, but overall they are excellent and very comfortable.

It has been a long time since my last pair of running shoes. These are comfy. They are true to size as I have worn 10.5 shoes for the past forty plus years. I stepped into a puddle of water and was pleased to see that all the water that infiltrated this shoes immediately poured out of the shoe and left me with a dry feeling run. I wasn't wearing socks though. Mud washes off with a wet towel. These are really light on my feet and make for easy long distance hikes like climbing a fourteener. They have no ankle support though so not a hiking shoe but for those with strong ankles that doesn't matter. Lighter is better in my opinion. ... show more
