Bought this bat after my second game wooden bat 40+ league, where I broke my nice Victus bat. This was meant to just be a cheap replacement, but I ended up using it the remainder of the season. I have never swung bamboo before, and I was pleasantly surprised. As a lefty who typically likes to hit for power, this bat allowed me to do well against some slower velocity pitching than I was used to and still hit hard line drives to the right side of the field. I would still definitely prefer a nice maple bat for something to hit a long ball, but for the durability and the swing comfort, you can’t beat a bat in this price range. Definitely recommend for a BP/cage bat, or for someone who likes to just make solid contact with a cheaper price bat that won’t ring your hands up. ... show more

Its good for the price. However, make sure you wear batting gloves with it because the handle is coated in some sort of plastic and will rip blisters open so im docking points because its stupid. Bat dingers and makes a satisfying pop noise.

I got this for my 15 year old. He’s made the jump from metal to wood bars. I was curious about a pressed bamboo bat, which is legal for school and travel ball, and it’s great! Makes a great sound knocking the crap out of a ball. It’s the same size and weight as his actual wood mizuno bat. I don’t know exit velocity off it but it hits very similarly to the wood bad. You will definitely have to order grip tape for it ... show more
