I got this dress to wear as a top for an awkward pose jcpenny photo shoot with my friend for the holidays as I like longline tops (most women's tops come up way too short for me and my apron belly) and this fit the bill in terms of what I was aiming for. True mini dress length. Goes past my hips and sits at the bottom of my butt with minimal bunching at the hips, but goes past my butt if I pull all the way down. I am 5'3", 187lbs with a heavy chest and rounder bottom (pear shaped with more substantial top, but not hourglass). I got a size large to be safe (sometimes these items can run small), but could have sized down to a medium for a snugger fit as a shirt. It's lightweight, stretchy, soft/buttery like material, but doesn't have much thickness to it so you can easily see outlines of garments underneath (consider wearing a slip if you don't wear thongs or leggings underneath), but doesn't appear to be sheer. Seams don't bunch and are comfortable. The turtle neck does not sit flush against my neck, but I appreciate that as I don't like to feel constriction from clothing there. It DOES HAVE THUMB HOLES!! which is one of the main reasons I chose this dress in particular. The only thing I would have liked to change about this dress is the sleeve tightness - with how stretchy it is, they could have made the sleeves tighter. they sit loose around my forearms, which feels a tad weird with the thumbholes. My favorite things about this dress are the sleeve length, material and the assortment of colors. The material is extremely stretchy but not so thin that everything underneath shows through. I would consider it more of a bandage fit than a bodycon fit. To get the fit I prefer, I tend to order a size down from the suggested one. In this case, I originally ordered a medium which fit well enough but seemed to have extra material unless I pulled the hem lower than I wanted. When I pulled the hem up, it was almost like the dress had some ruching, which may not be a bad thing. I re-ordered the dress in a size small and the fit was absolutely perfect for me at 5'11" and 160 lbs. The white shoes are a medium and the black shoes are a small. I feel so feminine and sexy in this lovely little mini dress! This awesome dress really shows you legs, and that's just one of the things I love about it. It's so easy to slip on, and the long sleeves and high neck cover all of your upper body. So yes, it's all legs when wearing this dress. I'll always wear my favorite silky and shiny nude pantyhose and a pair of super-high stiletto heels whenever I have this dress on. Really do not like this dress at all. It’s not how it’s pictured. There is no distinction between the back and the front (I really hate that) its length is below the knee, not mini or cocktail. It smells like vinegar. I ordered it in Feb only reason I’m reviewing it is b/c I found it, it’s April and pass the time frame in which I can return it. 5’2” 145lbs 36DD Purchased the red in a size S. It is not red however more of a dark salmon pink red. It is not a mini and not stretchy at all. Could not get my arms through it due to my bust size. Smelled like perm solution only stronger. I don't get headaches but this smell was chemically harsh! Maybe I'd of washed it and kept it (provided the smell had come out), had it also been a mini as pictured however I am only 5’2”, and it was stretchy so as to fit into it. It appears though to slightly have the puffy shoulder and skirt look as it appears on the picture. Had to send it back. I just saw that this review was added to a different dress! Very surprised that it’s decent quality. It is stretchy. I weigh about 135 pounds and I am 5‘2“ and I bought the medium as Amazon suggested and it fits perfect. I love it, my daughter told me it’s probably her favorite dress that I’ve gotten so far. And you know kids don’t lie lol!! I’m not gonna lie on you. I originally had a couple other very similar dresses in my shopping cart, but I decided to just read the reviews and I stuck with this one and I’m glad that I did because nobody wants to go through the hassle of having to return something that isn’t like how it shows in the pictures. Nice dress. It fits to the body and shows off curve. It’s slightly thick but not too much. The dress paired well with boots. My only issue is that it would rise a-lot. Wore it in Vegas and with all the walking it was not fit for that.
