I am 5'8, 225 pounds, and 40DD and this fit snug wearing the 2XL. The material is thick and covers you. The V neck part is good where it gives a tiny bit of cleavage without the girls all hanging out. The only thing was the ruffly sleeves- there was all this extra ruffle under the armpit that you don't need, it will only make you look wider. I cut and pinned it back and trimmed off and pinned some of this ruffle sleeve under the armpit to make that part smaller. I tried on the navy, black, dark green, and burgundy. The dark green looked like 'sea creature' on me, the burgundy was too 'Christmas party at the office', and the navy and black were the winner that you just can't go wrong with. I didn't dare try the lilac or light pink because at my size, it would just make me look more gigantic than I already am! (let's be honest here!) The ruffled down the stomach covers most of the tummy so you won't be too self conscious about your mid section. I usually don't like a high-lo dress where it is higher in the front and lower in the back because they can look cheap, but this doesn't at all. I will get a lot of wear out of the dress. Def a good buy at a good price.

Bought this dress in black to wear to a function & to see if it was nice enough for my bridesmaids to wear for my wedding. Should’ve sized up as mine was just a touch snug so gave it to a friend but loved it so much that my bridesmaids will be wearing it in burgundy. They are all shapes & all ordered, received & are thrilled. 1 didn’t suze up as I suggested but returned to exchange it & is now pleased. At a point during the reception, we’re all changing into boots which is the main reason I wanted to go with a hi-low plus this truly IS a dress they can dress up or down for another function. Most of us are dancers so this dress will get a lot of use.

What a great dress! I was on the fence about it but after seeing others’ pics I went for it, and I’m so glad I did. I normally have a really boring style and I liked that this was a little more fun, more flirty, and more interesting. The navy is a nice color. It arrived a bit wrinkled as expected but did fine after a quick tumble in the dryer. I’m 5’4” and this was a fine length with low heels. I normally wear a size 18 and got an XXL - perfect fit. I think other reviews mentioned that the lining along the neckline tended to bunch and come up. If I could take off half a star for that, I would, because I found myself fixing it a lot throughout the night, but it wasn’t a deal breaker and you could probably fix it with some fabric tape.

The dress is a nice style. I think well suited for those of us with larger breasts and bellies, lol. I am 5'1" and with 3" heels the dress just aboutt touched the ground. Having the split in the front ensures that you won't trip, which is a plus. I wanted the dress for a summer party and it just felt too thick for me. It does have some stretch to it. That being said, it's not see through. I returned it because the large size was too small for me. The fabric inside the v-neck would not lay flat, but the smaller size and my breasts are probably to blame for that. I didn't bother to order the XL because the fabric was so heavy. But if I can't find anything else I like, I may have to try the XL and hope it fits better. UPDATE: I've ordered the XL, which fits better and the top lays flat as it should. Be aware that these are made in China (as per label) and are not consistent in sewing. I've ordered 3 in navy blue because there was a flaw in the previous dress. I'm trying to find the one that is closest to perfect. The hem was uneven on the first dress (as in left side was longer than the right.) The second dress had the tag sewn in an uncomfortable position which scratched my neck. Haven't tried on the third yet, but hoping third time is the charm.

I ordered a navy blue XL. I am 5’ 6”, busty and 190lbs. It fit like a dream. The ruffle in the front gives a nice little camouflage to the tummy. The length is perfect for me to wear flats or heels with it. The dress seemed a little heavy when I first pulled it out, but it is stretchy fabric and there is actually a lot to the skirt. Once on, it was incredibly comfortable. I love the cut of the front, you get all the elegance of a floor length gown with none of the trip hazards up front!

Really impressed with the stretch in this dress that gives flex to the areas where you may need it. I have a larger bust (38H) so this is my pain point, and this dress was VERY accommodating and looks so elegant. Noticed a few seam threads loose/falling out, but nothing anyone would notice. I'm 5'5" 190 lbs, and bought the extra large. It hits the floor behind me (a 3" pair of wedge heels work great), and I can put the dress on without unzipping it, and it looks like it was made for me. Excellent value, and solved my need for wedding in Europe.

This dress is sophisticated and classic. It is a high-low style with a small train type of effect in the back. I am 5’6” and weigh 165lbs so I ordered the large. It fit perfectly! It accentuated my 38C bust and gave me the appearance of a smaller waist without highlighting my problematic mid-section fluff.
