These boots are fine as long as you take out the original soles and put new ones in. Otherwise, these boots will start to hurt your feet almost immediately. Also - I did not wear them in snow so I can’t speak on whether or not they are water resistant.

These shoes/boots are very comfortable. Just the right amount of warmth that your feet will be comfortable on a cold wet morning, but won't be roasting if it warms up in the afternoon. I've had them all winter, and they're still in good shape, so I would say they are sturdy high quality for the price.
