Not your typical 4mm hair elastics, these are over 20% thicker (and cooler). I've attached a picture of the red 5mm Minihope hair elastic twisted together with my usual black 4mm hair elastics from a popular brand. The Minihope ones are subtly thicker with a great stretch. They're made from natural rubber and have a very faint rubber scent which fades with use. The Minihope elastics are very stretchy and have about the same hold as other hair elastics (the thickness means they stretch further, not that they hold tighter). The outer cloth layer is densely woven and the bright colors are holding up well. The join point is very well and symmetrically connected. They look great, feel great, work great, and so far I am really liking them. If you are looking for a 5mm hair elastic in popular assorted colors, this is a good one to try. ... show more
