This top is a super soft (think sweater soft), medium weight, jersey type material. It's warm without being bulky. I love the cowl neck that keeps the back of my neck warm (short hair here) and yet it's loose and feminine in the front without being too low and revealing. Along with that, it's just long enough in the back to cover my backside and not so long that it looks dumpy. The fit is slimming without being clingy, loose without looking like a maternity top or mumu. I am 5'7" 175# 40D with the typical mom muffin top. I don't like tight or fitted tops, so I ordered the XXL. It's perfect for me. The only downside I can see is that the black, which I ordered, collects everything. If you have pets I would avoid the black! Also, I'm not sure what other reviews are talking about when they mention exposed or outside seams. The only "exposed" seam on mine is the bottom front edge. It is not turned under and stitched, but it is a finished edge. I think you'd call it serged. All other seams are normal and on the inside. I have washed and dried mine only once so far so I'm not sure about how it will hold up. I do plan on throwing it in a mesh laundry bag when washing to avoid pilling. 4 star rating and I plan on ordering more colors. :)

This is a very nice shirt. I’m 5’5 with a long torso and is hits at the fold of my leg. The material is mid weight and soft. If you want a roomier fit, you might want to go up a size as there are no side slits.

I loved everything about this sweater. It is soft, and fits nicely. Cowl style collar hangs nicely. It is a medium weight sweater . I wore it to work with a light vest and I was very comfortable. My husband commented on how nice it looked on me. I got the greenish one and will most likely order the blue.

I have always loved cowl neck blouses and sweaters. I had a couple of them that I, eventually, just wore out. I couldn't find a replacement that satisfied what I wanted until I found this brand. I order 4 different colors and hoped I would be happy with the style and fit of each one. I received two in the mail yesterday and wore one of them today. I absolutely could not be happier! The cowl neck is very flattering and the weight of the fabric is perfect The coverage is great and The size I selected fits perfectly!

I have no idea what everyone else got but this is DEF not a sweater! It didn’t even go past my waist, sleeves didn’t even clear my wrists, and shoulders really fit odd. NO “knit” texture at all, neck looked like a terribly stretched out T-shirt neckline and bottom hem was literally NO hem! This couldn’t ever, by any stretch of the imagination, fall anywhere near my butt! To wear it with legging, which was my intention, would be a joke! Leggings with a waist high SHIRT with a stretched out neck and sleeves that you can’t scrunch up AT ALL, wow!! That’d look terrific! Ugh. Disappointment abounds! Couldn’t set up the return fast enough! Def do better at a second hand store on a $1.00 day!
