Description

Milliput is the 2 part, easy-to-use epoxy putty that molds like clay and cures to the hardness of porcelain. Use for scratch building, sculpting, repairing, gap filling, pattern making and customizing. Ideal for military miniatures, ship model parts, dolls, dollhouse accessories, plastic models and thousands of other items. Roll it as thin as 1/64 inch for making super detailed scale parts . Can be sawn, drilled, filed, sanded and painted when cured. Smooth with a wet finger and cleans up with water before it cures. Fully cured in 5 hours without heat or sooner with a hair dryer. The choice of master model makers throughout the world. Yellow-grey, standard grain, 4 oz.

I bought this to fill in pieces of baseboard molding that had broken off. It didn't work for that purpose, as it wasn't sticky enough to adhere to the wood. It is easy to mix and mold, however, and I will undoubtedly find another use for it. I do think it's pretty expensive for the amount you get in the package. ... show more

I bought a little antique doll that was missing its fingers on its left hand. You can see in the photo that I was able to recreate the fingers and restore the doll. I've used this stuff to make repairs to a few other things as well. Follow the directions and get started. Use only as much as you need and store the rest away for the next time.     • Pretty easy to use for a non-artist like me..
You get two sticks - epoxy and Hardener - and roll them together to make a uniform putty. Despite what they say; when mixed, it dries as a light green; not yellow gray. Not a problem for me since I was planning on painting the fills anyway. It is fairly easy to apply. It does harden as they say, and can be sculpted, painted, drilled, sanded after that.
