Description

Miken Vicious 13" Maxload Dual Stamp Slow Pitch Softball Bat: MPAV Leave a trail of shattered expectations and crushed balls in your wake with the Miken Vicious 13" Maxload Dual Stamp Slow Pitch Softball Bat! Bat Benefits The Miken Vicious 13" Maxload Dual Stamp Slow Pitch Softball Bat is a ferocious fusion of style and power, with a unique twist that sets it apart from the rest. Crafted from Miken's mighty E-Flex 700 alloy material, its barrel and handle combine strength and agility like never before. Ultimately, this allows the Vicious to not only be hot out-of-the-wrapper, but incredibly durable too! But wait, there's more! The Vicious employs a "multi-wall" design, which adds an extra layer of oomph to your swing. In addition, it is fit with Miken's Maxload (slightly end-loaded) swing weight, giving you that sweet spot of power. Typically, we'd recommend a bat like this for power hitters, but with alloy-barreled bats becoming scarce, we say swing away, whether you're a contact hitter or a power slugger! And let's not forget, this Miken Vicious 13" Maxload Slow Pitch Bat is no one-trick pony. It's a true marvel, carrying the prestigious USSSA and USA Softball stamps.

    • High Performing Miken Slowpitch Softball Bat
Size: 34" 25 oz. Color: Orange
My son, a bunch of his buddies, and I are playing our 9th season of men's softball now. Since it is very obvious now that this is something we will be continuing to do as a group for the foreseeable future, it became a necessity for everyone to go out and buy their own bat. It is important for everybody to use a bat that is the proper weight, material, and feel. Till recently, everyone was just sharing bats, and not necessarily using bats that were best for each person's individual performance. Since it was time to get my own bat, I decided to go with this Miken Vicious bat. I've paid attention to what bats other players in the league have been using, and the Vicious bat is something I have noticed over the years as something that generally yields in great results. This is the main reason I chose this particular bat. The bat arrived brand new, and wrapped in plastic which made it obvious that it was truly brand new and had never been used. The bat size was correct, at 34 inches long and 25 ounces in weight. This bat was ready for use immediately. Throughout the first game, I was wondering if this was the bat I had hoped. Several guys and myself had been using the bat, and had very little success with it at first. Apparently this was the 'breaking in' period for the bat. Lots of weak contact, and balls not being hit very hard at all. Then, in the second game, it was like the bat's 'On Switch' was flipped. Everybody started hitting hard line drives and the results were overwhelmingly positive. With that being said, be patient if buying this bat, as it does have a little bit of a 'breaking in' that needs to be done. I am happy with this bat, and at less than $10, it is a great value for the money. Miken bats seem to all be high quality, whether it is a 'Vicious' or any other model. No matter what association is being played, Miken has an amazing bat ready to go. Title of the item I am reviewing: Miken Vicious 13" Maxload Dual Stamp Slow Pitch Softball Bat: MPAV ... show more
