It's a nice size, not too big or small. It fits nicely on a shelf with other things and looks like it could be one of those mini orchids, which costs at least $9.99 and this one will last forever. The white petals are more realistic looking than the colored ones. It's a good weight and it won't topple over. Because this artificial plant had the Mikasa name, I expected a beautiful plant. The pot is pretty. And, the petals are actually really nice -- they look and feel real. BUT...the plastic, super fake looking leaves and stems take away from the plant too much. It might look okay if you put it up on a high shelf or far away so you can't see the plastic so much. The vase and the orchids themselves are very nice quality. We have been buying Micasa items for years and they have never disappointed. This one doesn't either. The 4 stars are only because the item itself is quite small than what I assumed from the description. This Mikasa realistic touch orchid is a close fake. Very thick rubbery texture. From a distance it would appear to be real. Very well made. It needs to be bent into shape when it arrives in its extremely well padded box. The vase is real ceramic and very heavy. I will be keeping this on a shelf at a distance from people walking by so they think it is the real deal:) ... show more
