This one ended up being a no for me. The pros: the quality of the fabric was impressive and nicer than I expected when I ordered it. I only tried it on briefly but in that short time I didn’t get any impression that the sleeves would be itchy or anything like that. It really looks great in person. The cons: I just don’t think it’s right for my body type. I ordered a medium but I didn’t feel like I had any shape in it. I was just swimming in a big sweater that was fancier than it should have been for the shape. Im a short, pear-shaped, average sized (5’1, weight currently in the 170s, C cup) person and it just didn’t do anything for me but I worry that sizing down would be too uncomfortable/tight in the arms/shoulders etc. If you’re similar in my shape and these photos give you a “but that’s how I want it to look” then go for it! This top was definitely a good quality (at least for the brief time I kept it.) but it just wasn’t a fit that I thought I would end up wearing enough to justify keeping. ... show more

The sleeves are sheer the rest of the shirt is not. That is definitely one of the things I liked about it. There was no bra showing through my shirt. I love the color. I love the fabric. However the shirt is a little long and kind of looks like a sack hanging off of you if you are a woman with any amount of ample bosom. I am 5'5, wear size 16 women's shirt, and am a size 42c with a hour glass figure. And the way the shirt hangs off my chest and hips isn't very flattering for my midsection. It ended up being very high neck, difficult closure, and lace isn't very comfortable. Billowy lace sleeves get caught on things easily like jewelry. Rest of fabric snags easily. It's not ugly, but I wish I didn't buy it. It looks SO much more flattering on the model. On me, it fits like a raglan baseball tee...shoulders look big from the way the sleeve is cut. I bought it in Olive Green and the color is accurately represented in the photo. Maybe it would look better on a tiny framed girl, but I'm curvy and busty, and I don't think it does me any favors. I probably should have returned it, but I didn't realize it wasn't a hit until I had already worn it once. ... show more

Honestly this shirt is what I expected but it has a zipper in the front which is not shown in the picture. It is only a 1/4 zip but some don't like that. the sleeves are baggy but really cool being that it's almost a lace material. I got a lot of compliments on this top. It was comfortable and fit well. It was a little more casual-looking than I expected but I think it is still a nice top. My only complaint is that I did not get the pattern I ordered. I’m not returning because the pattern I receive is ok (just not as nice as the one I wanted). I ordered the large version of this shirt. I'm usually a medium/large on top but I think I could have gone with a medium. It wasn't that big of a deal I kept the shirt because it wasn't worth the hassle of ordering a smaller size. I'd rather it be a tad big than too small!

I'm usually L/XL. I took the XL but I feel it's too big. I can make it work but I with I took the L instead. There's a zipper in the back which I wasn't expecting, so if you're by yourself it's tricky to put on. but without the zipper you wouldn't be able to get your head through. the top is VERY long. not sure how to style such a long top. ... show more
