The fit beautifully and and while the fabric is soft and may feel heavy I did not feel hot in the grueling summer heat and humidity of the South! They wash well and did not have any issues with shrinkage. The pockets are ample for keys and a cell phone. I was really excited to try these pants, and overall they’re a solid, versatile addition to my wardrobe—with a few caveats. First, the comfort level is excellent. The fabric is soft and stretchy without feeling flimsy, which makes them easy to wear all day. They move well with your body and don’t feel restrictive, whether you’re sitting at a desk or out running errands. One of the biggest pros is how versatile they are. You can easily dress them up for a business-casual look with a blouse and blazer, or dress them down with a simple tee for a more relaxed, everyday outfit. That kind of flexibility is always a win. That said, they do run a bit large. I’m 5'2” and about 103 lbs, and even the smallest size (26) fits slightly loose on me. They hang a bit more than I’d prefer, though I will say the slightly baggy look is pretty on-trend right now, so it’s not necessarily a dealbreaker. Another small note: the “white” color isn’t a true bright white—it leans more toward an off-white/cream tone. This didn’t bother me much, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re planning to pair them with a crisp white or white-striped top, as the difference is noticeable. Overall, I like these pants for their comfort and styling versatility, but I’m on the fence about repurchasing. This material is a stretchy polyester feeling material, rather shiny and quite slippery feeling. I was expecting more of a cottony feeling material. So I'm kinda disappointed. I don't typically buy polyester clothing because I don't like the way it feels, and these feel like polyester. DOWNGRADED RATING: not durable!! I still love these pants in color, fit, feel, and appearance but they just did not hold up. Seams started unraveling after the first wear, by the second wear both the waist buttons had fallen off. After 2 washes (fold, gentle hand wash) the fabric is pilling and the seams look like they’re about to fall apart. Really bummed because I was about to buy more colors but these just aren’t very durable. Would love to see these with a higher quality. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Surprisingly nice pants! I expected them to be more linen-look, not sure why but just in case you also thought that. They do not look like linen. Absolutely amazing fit in the bum and waist for me. I am 5’9” with a long torso & pear shaped figure and typically pants are either too tight in the thigh/bum or I have a huge gap in the waist. Not so with these - they fit like a dream. If you have a more straight or apple type figure I don’t know how these would fit, but for my fellow pear ladies these rock, sooo flattering. The high waist makes my long torso look less extreme. Some stretch makes them comfy and they are pretty lightweight though not see through in any way. Seem like a perfect spring/summer pant. The pockets are attractive and functional - could be a little bigger for the larger style phones, but this isn’t a deal breaker for me. I got the rust and it’s a gorgeous bold color, very much an orange-y cayenne rust. Got these to take on a trip and I think they’ll be ideal, should pack well. I’ve gotten burned buying clothes on Amazon before but these are genuinely a good deal. Great fit, super comfortable, just the right amount of stretch, not thin at all but I wouldn’t call it thick either. Real actually useful pockets too which is always a gamble with women’s pants I’ll never understand. Honestly just super great quality. These pants are true to size and feel so good on. They have stretch and are flattering. True to Suzan 5’4” 126 and a 28 fit me perfectly. Length was perfect, at or a little above my ankles. I would give a 5 star, cause I love them, but after washing them gentle cycle, no dryer, they came out all wrinkled. I played them flat and smoothed with my hands as I do with most of my slacks…they did not come out. I will use a very light iron, and hope they come out.
