The wires aren’t bad but the connectors are too tight if you connect them and try to pull them back out the whole connectors in the switch is coming out as well. Don’t worry though it can be installed back in. The switch is ok but I think I’m going to change it.

    • Ended up not using this harness, not because of its quality. These are super nice, worth way more then they cost!!!
So all at once I purchased (1) 32" Senlips Curved 180w LED Bar, (4) 4" AuxBeam LED Pods, (3) MicTuning Heavy Duty 2-Lead LED Wiring Harnesses w/ Illuminated Rocker Switches, (1) MicTuning 6 Circuit Fuse Block/Distribution Block, (1) Rigid Industries 06-08 Dodge Ram LED Pod Fog Lights Bracket, (4) Dorman Universal 2-Lead Male Pigtails and (4) Dorman Universal 2-Lead Female Pigtails. I ordered all that for my 2006 Dodge RAM 1500 Hemi 4x4 on 12/08/16 but ended up trading in my 06' for a 12' on 12/09/16. All of this was delivered on 12/10/16 so I was basically "stuck" with it, as I did not want to mount it and wire into my new truck. So I gave these harnesses 4 stars because I never got to use them. So my review is based off of a visual inspection and package/shipping quality. These came packaged really well. They are 12ft long, super thick wiring and have a protective coating on the outside of the wires to protect them from the outside elements. The Relays, Fuses, Wires and Switches are all top quality and didn't feel cheap or flimsy. The Illuminated Switch was really nice and I hooked it up to a 12v jumper box and the blue LED was nice and bright... but not TOO bright, it was just right. These things are worth way more then the $18 they are charging for them... if your hesitating buying these, dont. These are put together extremely well. Overall I would definitely buy these again if I do any LED lights in the future and need a prebuilt harness for them. ... show more

A quick review on the parts I used and hopefully tips if you are taking on this fairly easy install. I did need some extra wire for the wiring harness to reach the A post. Check out the videos for install help if this is your first time. It was for me. I hooked the rocker switch to the dash lights, had to remove most of the dash to get this done but looks really good and the light dims with the dash lights. See this video: [...]. Make sure to have a little extra wire handy. The rocker switch that comes with the wiring harness can be replaced as a unit easily but not just the faceplate. I found that Otrattw switches are more customizable and are a very good quality. Good wireing kit. Every things is put together good. Only down side was the instructions didnt match the wire colors going to the switch. If you are not familiar with a 12v system do not hook this up without someone who does. I installed my light bar with this harness and after a few double checks on which wire goes where... it works fine. ... show more

Great product however the cable is to short to fit for a Tacoma hood lights. I have to improvise and buy some more wire. Overall if it fit it would be amazing plug and play type of deal. In defense of the product is doesn’t say it was long enough for any specific vehicle.

    • Wiring short in the wrong areas, will need modification.
First one I received was missing the switch, second one came. Although it is too large to fit in any slot on a 2019 Tacoma. Down side to this is that I had to modify it to work with ditch lights. The two leads that go to your lights were so close together that they wouldnt reach across the length of the hood. So I cut the whole thing right at the first split. Then measured the actual distances I needed from that material. There was plenty. They just put them to close to the end of the line. I also extended the battery power lead with the extra material. It was also a little short for where I could mount the relay. Then you have to de-pin the connector to get it through your firewall, it should come disassembled knowing people are running it to the inside of their vehicle. No one puts a switch under their hood, it goes inside. After my modifications everything works great. But i could have saved some work by buying some 16g wires, a switch that would fit my vehicle, and a relay. ... show more
