I am a big fan of Michael Kors clothing and accessories, so ordering these boots was a no-brainer. Overall, these are gorgeous boots, but for the designer name and price point, they should be absolute perfection. Immediately, before removing them from the box, I saw a fairly noticeable scuff on the inside of the toe of one boot. Upon further inspection, there were other small imperfections, as documented by my photos. I suppose someone else could return their pair if they encountered these issues, but for the price point, every pair should be inspected thoroughly before being shipped. There is a really nice detail of a hidden zipper inside the ankle of the boots, however, the zipper scuffs the edges as it's slid up and down; that might be less noticeable with a boot that has a matte finish instead of patent leather. As far as fit, these fit true to size and are a really comfortable heel height, especially considering that the heel isn't a skinny stiletto. I'm assuming my pair of boots is an outlier with the defects, and I think I would still recommend these to others. ... show more

These Michael Kors Darrah knee-high boots are genuinely gorgeous. We didn’t find a single imperfection on them — the leather is smooth, sleek, and has that elegant look MK usually delivers. They have a really polished silhouette that looks great with dresses, skirts, and skinny jeans. The only reason I’m keeping this as a fair (but still positive) review is because we haven’t fully tested them for long wear yet, so I can’t speak to comfort over extended periods. But appearance-wise and quality-wise right out of the box, they’re absolutely stunning. A very elegant pair of boots with no flaws in craftsmanship that we could see. ... show more
