My course is relatively flat at 7200 yards. For the first outing it still had 50% battery meter level at 45 holes. The Caddy is easy to setup and calibrate. My walking speed was between speeds 4-5 while the unit has 9 speeds. I use a Ping Hoofer bag that I used to occasionally carry for 9 holes. The bungee cords are a little too large to hold that type bag well but you can modify that easily. Wheels are easy to disengage for pushing the cart if needed. Since my course restricts carts in the fairway while the grass is dormant, this makes golfing enjoyable. I'm able to keep up with my group of 4 in their private carts that are constantly getting the clubs out of the bag to walk to their ball. So, am very pleased with my purchase. Feb 21 - Ran the unit till the battery quit. It lasted 54 holes. The remote still had plenty of battery power. After 2 months of use at a couple rounds per week. There have been no issues. The MGI Navigator is a great trolley. The design is excellent, and it was very easy to set up and use. On the course, it easily traversed the terrain and is rock-solid. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Shipping was also extremely fast and flawless!

    • The joy of walking the golf course without the drudgery

We've had a wet spring in Chicago and at age 72 I had been tiring after 16 holes of pushing my cart through mushy ground. This cart allows me the fun of walking the course without fading late in the round. After my firs six rounds with the Zip Navigator I'm impressed and very satisfied with my purchase. There's a learning curve of course. You have to take it slow at times, watch for depressions, and stay close to support the cart when going up steep slopes or along side-hills. The remote version is well worth it. I like to help the other guys find their balls and with the remote I can send the cart to my ball while I walk across the fairway to help in a ball search. I learned to stow my extra water supply low in my bag to keep the cart from being top-heavy. Yes, I've tipped it a few times but only when not paying enough attention. I play 70-80 rounds per year, always walking, and this cart has really enhanced my golf experience. When my cart arrived, the universal clip had a crack in it. The seller promptly replaced clip. I love this cart works well, but I had to go online to find out how to adjust the gyroscope so the cart would track straight. I've used electric carts for more than 10 years. The MGI Zip Navigator is the best cart I've used. My favorite feature is the gyroscope. WIth previous carts I had to pay a lot of attention to the cart path since they changed direction on side hills. The Navigator stays on line on side hills. It's very fast. I've taken to getting to the general area of my ball when I'm in the rough and just stopping it. It's so fast that I can get it to me in a few seconds. So I'm focused on finding the ball, not the cart. I have turned it over once in the first 10 rounds. It has a relatively short rear wheelbase and you have to be careful on side hills. The cart battery and the remote battery have been great. After an 18 hole round on a pretty hilly course they still shows full. I'm sure I could get at least 36 holes with no problem. The remote is very sensitive and takes a little getting used to turning but that took the front 9. It's a little heavier than my previous carts but still easy to get in and out of the trunk with the battery removed. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. If you’re like me, you probably read every review in this product. I can honestly tell you, every negative review I found was irrelevant and BS. The MGI Zip Navigator is a TANK, I put this thing to the test, it doesn’t flip easy unless you’re running it on a cliff. If the angle is too steep for you ankles and feet then you definitely will need to redirect your caddy to better terrain. I play 3-5 times a week. Had it for less than a week and recommend it 100%. I also got most of the accessories; the cooler, the seat, and the score card holder. One of the key points for my purchase was that I wanted a caddy with turning front wheel. There are more out there like the walk behind type but I was not looking at spending $2k on a electric caddy. ... show more

I’m a purist who would only carry a golfbag and the thought of a pushcart was anathema. During the last 5 years, I took to a golf cart to save my aching back. And then this, the Zip. It’s the best of both worlds. The charge is good for at least 36 holes, the speed settings are varied to navigate the hills and flats, and the range of the remote is nearly 300 yards. I wore a HR monitor the other day while walking a 6,000 yard course and burned nearly 1,000 calories. A riding cart comparison, for me, was a 625 burn. It’s the best of all worlds.
