These jeans are fantastic! Im 5'2 and 145lbs. I ordered a 10short. The fit perfectly except about 1.5 inches too long. I just trim them or will order a new pair and get them re-hemmed. They are very soft and.have a great stretch. The jean is not too thick which i like. I would say they are a good mid to hi rise on me based on my build. Love, love, love these jeans!! These came up in my search for low rise jeans as I am low waisted, which means low rise are mid rise on me. I gave them a shot and I'm so glad I did! I got a 10 Short and they fit perfectly without being too short. They're stretchy but do not lose their shape or get baggy. The most comfortable jeans I've ever had! Short length was a good match for my shorter frame. Sometimes “short” is too short for me, since I like to wear heels or wedges (typically 2 inch heels), but these work great. Stretchiness allowed these jeans to accommodate my waist, even when going out for a large meal — these jeans stayed comfortable throughout the evening, and I also didn’t notice them bagging after a few hours like some jeans do. Would have given 5 stars if not for the odor, which I assume has to do with the black wash. I’ve washed a couple times, and that odor is diminishing and will hopefully go away. I am washing in cold and not using a dryer to help protect the dark wash, so I can’t speak to whether these shrink in the dryer. ... show more

I bought the grey color. I wish they were a touch darker, but it's not bad. I am older and have digestive issues. I can't wear anything snug on my waist. These have at least 3 inches of stretch. The jeans are a bit snug in the thighs, which is flattering. I love the mini boot cut to balance out my figure. I did order up a size. I usually wear a 12, but went with a 14. They are a great fit. The short length is 30 inches and wonderful. No hemming. EDIT: These jeans will shrink in the width, but not the length. All that lovely extra comfort in the waist is gone. These jeans are comfortable, well made and as a shorter women (5’ 3”) who struggles with larger sizes and length - these are perfect length inseam! The stretch in the waist band makes them sit well when standing but allows som give when seated. And the price compared to many jeans is great.
