Installation is Not All That Easy But Worth the Effort Even with the excellent Installation Manual, which is downloadable as a PDF file, installtion is not as easy as claimed on the Amazon page. No way one person can put this together in no forty minutes. The installation manual itself indicates that you need two people and it took us nearly two hours. That said, I must compliment them on the clarity of the manual and the labelling of the components. The ten page manual is mainly a set of line drawings with just a bit of text, all of it easy to understand. The first two pages diplay each component, clearly labelled with a letter which corresponds to the letters on the small round stickers on the pieces themselves. Eleven kinds of fasteners, ranging in number from 2 to 41, each set in its own clear plastic sealable baggie, marked by a round letter sticker just like the components. So far so good. The Phillips head screwdriver provided will do the job but better you equip yourself with one with a magnetized shaft, the better to engage the annoying 41 type N fasteners, very short metal screws which are hard to thread with the fingers. Also the grip on their screwdriver is fairly small. We used a rubber grip you might use to open cap of a bottle or jar to get more torque. Now with four insertable shelves and the bottom tpp you really have five shelves to put your stuff on. The space inside the cabinet is 67 inches (170 cm) so you have 13 inches (33 cm) of clearance if shelves are spaced evenly. It would be nice if they offered kits of two extra shelves and fasteners to be purchased and shipped separately for storing things that do not need that much clearance. ... show more

Short version: Good cabinet for the price. Delivered undamaged. All parts included (With some spares). Well engineered. Medium-easy effort to assemble. Paint finish looks good. Nice size. Doors lock. Shelves are adjustable. Has 4 easy access adjustable feet to level and square up cabinet (So door open/shut properly). Would recommend. Long version: This metal cabinet is not heavy duty, which can be both good or bad depending on what you want it for. The sheet metal is thin so it's light and easy to move around. It's engineered such that it will hold a fair amount of weight and be fairly sturdy for years to come, but, it's not made to hold pallets of bricks. Figure on two people to put it together. The box is a bit heavy for one person. It's not hard to assemble but it helps to have extra hands to "Hold this here" while screwing together. Speaking of screws, the self tapping screws are made out of butter so use a hand screw driver or set your power driver to the lowest settings (These screws will strip out if you just look at them hard). The assembly instructions are straight forward. To keep from scratching anything we used the packaging foam sheets to lay the cabinet panels on while putting together. Once the back, sides, top, and bottom panels are together you can stand it up before putting on doors or shelves in. We went with metal cabinet knowing it will out last the typical particle board cabinets (Especially if it gets wet). Outside of that it's a nice looking box that holds things. ... show more

For the price, you can't beat it. Install sheet was good, simple to assemble. A drill with phillips head bit made it much quicker. The leveling foot adjustment can be done from inside the cabinet with a flat head, which is a nice feature once the cabinet is anchored to the wall. The door now has magnets on it to hold it mostly shut without locking. I plan to just hot glue the key in place and use it like a knob. I ordered in Sept 2023. The packaging must have been upgraded recently, because they now put sheet metal boxes around both ends of the parts to prevent them from being damaged in shipping. The wall anchors are junk, so dont bother with them. But everything else was great. I plan to buy 2-3 more units as we need the additional storage space. ... show more

A nice looking and sturdy cabinet, once all the pieces are together. It took me (alone) about 90 minutes to assemble one and about 60 on the second one. The design is perfect. You can adjust all your shelves to the sizes you need as well as attach to a wall if you wish; the hardware is included. In case the manufacture is watching....... I very much appreciated the extra screws and hardware found in the boxes. It's always questionable if you'll have all the pieces when opening a box that has an item that needs assembling. Most the time, you get the exact amount of pieces and if something strips out or you drop a screw that goes flying, you have to go searching around the house for something else that might work. A note, it appears that you may wish to rethink the way you package the item in the shipping box. I bought 2 cabinets and once the boxes were opened, I found your "G" piece to be bent in the exact same corner on both cabinets. ... show more

    • Heavy but great quality- 2 person job

This is great and great quality. We got this to use as a pantry and lined the shelves to reduce scratching. Our fridge is too big to fit in our fridge area under overhead cupboards... so fridge is in another spot and this cabinet fit perfect in that space. Using it to store extra food and kitchen aides. Took 2 people to assemble so one person can help hold it together while one tighten screws. Looks great and is very sturdy and heavy duty. Helpful tip, if using in the house buy little scratch gaurd pads to help slide it in/out for easy cleaning and to keep it from scatching flooring. There are screws and hard plastic levelers on the bottom of the cabinet. We scratched our floor moving it the first time after ensembly but now won't anymore with those pads on bottom. Pretty sure it was one of the leveler legs that are pretty hard plastic that made the scratch but there are some screws down there too. Hard to tell which one it was without having to flip the heavy thing back over again. Was just one corner that did it in the right side of the back end. Now moves easily with the mover pads. Will move it once and awhile to clean & dust. 😊🫶 ... show more
