I bought these to wear while traveling. Definitely get inserts for them. Merrill’s inserts aren’t great but I love they’re shoes. Been wearing all fall with dresses and jeans. No one knows they’re rain boots!

I went on a solo backpacking trip through Europe for 2.5 months and averaged around 28,000 steps a day, with some days getting up to 40,000 steps, all with these shoes on. I sometimes struggle with plantar fasciitis, but never with these!! They were so comfortable, kept my feet warm but not hot, and one of my favorite parts about these shoes is the wide toe box so my toes have room to move more naturally as I walk. It took me a really long time to research what shoes I should bring with me to Europe, as I was only bringing one pair. So even though I was a little hesitant with the higher price point, buying these shoes was one of the best decisions I made!! They're also super cute and go with every outfit :)

Read all the reviews and decided to stay with my regular 9.5 and hoped for the best. Unfortunately they were too snug. I tried on only one of the boots. I needed a shoehorn to sort of get it onto my foot. The length seemed true to size but the fit around the wide part of the foot (and mine is a bit on the wide side) was too snug. I don't think they make a wide width otherwise I might consider ordering but I haven't seen that option. Have to return and won't reorder. I liked the look of the boot and it seemed well made (it's a Merrell so I wouldn't expect anything less). My search continues for a fall/winter boot.

I bought these to replace my other Merrell black boots. They have very good arch support! I thought they might be clunky looking compared to my other boots but they are not. Definitely my "go to" shoe to wear.

I'm tired of fast fashion where I have to replace my boots after a year or 2, and having so many different ones for different occasions. I've fallen in love with the quality of Merrell, and their fit for my feet. I have wide feet so many shoes are too narrow but across their hiking boots, tennis shoes, and now these, the standard size 10 all fit me like a glove. I've had the hiking boots for many years and they are still going strong. As far as the other reviews saying they are tight, they are snug putting your foot into them. But not bad, the stiffness makes them feel sturdy and high quality and then they fit nicely against your leg, not a big gap like others. Love that they are so multipurpose, could be casual or dressed up, and the fact that they are waterproof is priceless. So glad I decided to simplify and invest. Highly recommend!

I bought these to wear when I went on my tour of Ireland. So glad I found them! They were my most comfortable pair of shoes I took with me, and we did a lot of walking! Wish I could get another pair in my size.

Like reviewers said, this items runs large. I got both the 6 and 6.5 (my usual size) and kept the 6. They were a little tight, but once you walk around in them a bit, they start to stretch out. These are good, stylish, waterproof boots. I bought these for a trip to New York in November, and they did keep my feet dry walking around in the rain and through some puddles. They would be perfect boots if not for the fact that they didn't deliver in two very important features I need in a boot. -1 star because the traction does not provide slip resistance on wet, slippery surfaces. I slipped and nearly fell in the New York subway on a rainy day (which is about the grossest place you can fall), and doesn't that defeat the purpose of the boot being waterproof if they slip on wet surfaces? -1 star because they're just not comfortable for long walks. I walked up to 10 miles a day in New York, and by the end of Day 1, my feet were sore and blistered wearing these. Maybe they weren't totally broken in, or they were too small, but they rubbed pretty painfully on my outside toes. These could have been great, but they're unfortunately going back.
