I purchased this to wear to an all-day conference for which I will be flying in and out the same day. I was hoping to find a professional but comfortable dress for ~20 hours of wear. The dress looks more expensive than it is, and it would have looked great with a designer belt and heels. It arrived with zero wrinkles in it, which gave me hope about its ability to power through such a day. Unfortunately the neckline was too low to wear for professional purposes. I'm a 10-12 and the XL fit me well, but it was a tad tight in the bust. The back half of the waist has some elastic but it does make the back less flattering than it would be if the structured waistline went all the way around. I think if the neckline wasn't so low, I would have worn it as I have really struck out on finding a comfortable black dress that's suitable for a professional setting.

Giving it 5 stars because the dress deserves it, but it didn't work for a 5'9" girl - the waist is too high. But it's truly beautiful, probably works up to 5'7. The sleeves are tight elastic to make that puff, just FYI if you have big arms, probably going to be uncomfortable.

I LOVE the color of this dress and the way it fits and flows. However, I noticed that the pleats on one side "pull" towards the back and make the front hang sideways. I sent it back and reordered. When the next one came, it did the exact same thing. That's when I noticed it had a zipper on the side! I liked the dress so much that I took the zipper out and detached the pleats from the lining. Now the dress hangs perfectly! I pulled the dress over my head because I never saw the zipper!
