This dress had so much potential! The construction was top-notch, the stretchy lace was a dream, and the color absolutely popped. As a 5'2" gal, I was thrilled to find a dress that landed at just the right length. But for all its charms, there was one major snag: the fit on my curvy figure. Let's start with the good stuff. The quality of this dress was seriously impressive. The seams were tight, the fabric felt luxurious, and the stretchy lace hugged my curves without feeling restrictive. It moved beautifully, and I could tell it was a piece that would last. The color, too, was a knockout. Now, for the not-so-good. As someone with a 36D bust, the way the dress hit in that area just wasn't flattering. It felt a bit too clingy and didn't quite skim the curves in the way I would have liked. It wasn't necessarily revealing, but it wasn't the confident silhouette I was hoping for. Overall, this dress was a bittersweet experience. The quality and style were fantastic, but the fit on my body type just wasn't quite right. If you're on the straighter side, you might have a different experience, but for us curvier ladies, it's worth trying this one on before committing. You might just need a little extra tailoring to make it a showstopper. Here's the TLDR: Pros: Excellent construction, gorgeous color, flattering length for petites, stretchy lace is a dream. There’s literally nothing that I do not like about this dress. I’m ordering a few different colors at this point! I was asked last minute to be a fill in and this was the color…. I scoured for dresses for hours. Unsure due to sizing. This was one of the first I picked because of prime 2 day shipping and I liked the dress a ton. I was unsure tho lol I finally just did it because I was sick of looking. It came in recycled packaging, undamaged. Neatly backed in plastic to protect fabric. Just put it on :) The color is same as pictured. The fabric is light and breathable. It graces your curves, has a little stretch. It has a back zipper closure. It is a very soft and delicate lace that I will be hand washing. Careful on jewelry juice so it does not snag! Did I mention how soft and comfortable? I’ll probably mention it 5 more times. I am a size 16-18 on top and 18-20 on bottom. The measurements for the XXL are accurate. I tried on today with a supportive lace bralette. I wear a 40 DDD. It hugged my top but not tight by any means. I do think if I had on a push up bra it would be tighter but still wearable. I have a lot of inflammation in my belly area so I like to be comfortable in that area the most but not look grumpy… this dress is perfect. It can be dressed up or dressed down. The style & lace fabric are so lovely. The L fitted dress was great for my 154 lbs. But the lace skirt overlay is about 5" too long & because of the type of lace edge it is impossible to hem without ruining the appearance.
