the overall fit is correct, cute dress however the single slit ends up throwing the whole bottom of dress off kilter, seems to drag to the right as the slit is on the left...i love the texture and the overall dress...so i hacked it...took the slit and stitchwitched it with laying it flat w navy blue backing, stitchwitch in between and damp ironed it, added some fancy buttons on the side slit....and dressed it up a bit...so i invested a little bit of time and energy and 10 bucks worth of fancy buttons...and it looks great, no shifting/off kilter anymore

The color was right but the dress was not what I ordered. No slit. No belt. Size XS instead of small. And it’s a Maxi dress. I put it on and luckily I can pull off an extra small barely. Although I didn’t expect what I got, I didn’t hate it. The material is nice and warm, the burgundy color is rich, seems well made. I can wear this for a holiday party with the fam and to work on the week of Christmas. I need some emotional processing time to accept I didn’t get what I ordered. Amazon was cool about it and gave me half off so I won’t need therapy for the wrong dress. Other issues notwithstanding.

This dress is great! Form fitting, soft, and in such a great color (avacado). I will be wearing it during the holiday season. Im wearing shapewear under it to feel more supported because the dress definitely hugs you. I'm 5'6", 175 lbs if it helps.
