I loved this dress so much that I came back and ordered a second color. I have a business trip that will require us to be outdoors in the hot, humid summer weather here in the south. The dress code is business resort wear so I needed something appropriate that doesn’t look too casual. This dress fits perfectly, looks cute dressed up or down, and is lightweight so I stay cool. I bought the green stripe in 2021 in large when I was close to my heaviest ~180/190 5'3" it is my favorite dress and I wear it once a week for sure. So I got a medium in blue at ~145. I can still wear both because of the tie. It's comfortable enough for all day, and I can wear it with sneakers, hiking boots, or work shoes. If you're looking for the catch, the tie strings can get tangly in the wash. That said, I've unsnarled some doozies and haven't noticed stretch or any indication the ties will rip off. I was in it for less than an hour when someone asked where I got it. The edges are all finished well. The tie is sewn in. I don't have issues with the pockets flaring like others did. The length is nice for chasing around a kid. The material is neither thick or thin. It's medium weight and there were no see through issues on the striped dress. Soft and comfy. I'll have to read more reviews to determine if it will shrink in dryer. I can't spare any room in the top and don't want to buy an XL. I'm a fan and will air dry if needed. ... show more
