I was so surprised when I put this on! This type of dress is a hit or miss for me as the length wasn’t clear in the description. I’m 5’2” and weigh 130. It fits just at the bottom of my kneecap. The tie comes to my natural waist and is long enough that if I want to, I can have it go all the way around and tie in front, or I can just tie it in front or back. This gives it a couple of different looks and can elevate it from very casual to somewhat less casual! I haven’t washed it, but I think I would want to hang it to dry. It did come out of the bag ready to wear. There wasn’t any smell - or if there was, it was not horrendous! And if there were any wrinkles, they fell out right away. This dress is on of my favorites for work. I bought the black and white striped one before I was pregnant with my first daughter. I didn’t like it how it fit me because I bought too big. So I shelved it… Fast forward a couple of months and I’m pregnant nothing fits I’m trying anything and everything in my closet. Then I found this dress again. All other “Maternity” clothes never fit my boobs or just was cheap. This dress came in clutch and fit through out the entirety of my pregnancy. So I bought the light blue and white striped one. Fast forward a year later and I’m pregnant again. I bought 2 more black and the purple/maroon. Great Material, Comfortable, and it lasts. I will probably buy even more of these dresses overtime probably even in smaller sizes when I lose the baby weight ... show more

    • Cute, but careful with color
I bought this in orange and light pink. They both fit well. However, the pink one was see through and I ended up returning it. It’s meant to be a looser fit with the tie so comfortable while pregnant.

This item came today and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The material was very soft. I immediately tried it on and it looked decent on me. The only thing I would say is I bought a small which is supposed to be a size 4 to 6 US sizes and I normally wear a size 2 these days with how they now size things and even that can be big on me. This fit me perfectly so I would say that it runs small. I just washed it in warm water, which is what they tell you to do and it washed beautifully. I would say for the money you cannot go wrong with this dress. I just bought the same dress in the hot pink. I opened the bag and the stench from this dress almost knocked me out. I decided to wash it and see what happened. Most of the smell came out, but the material is so different than the black and white stripe it is very wrinkly and clingy. I am returning it. I love the black and white stripe, but the solid color, I would rate it a minus 1 star ... show more

I don't ever write Amazon reviews, but this is the most comfortable dress I own. The fabric is super soft. It's thick enough so not see through. It can be dressed up or down depending on your shoes. I'm 5'5, 145 lbs and it hits right above my knee so perfect for the office. I bought a medium which is a little loose but can be cinched with the bow. I think a small would be good too. I also like how the bow isn't separate and doesn't go all the way around, so it doesn't slip down. Everything about it is great! ... show more
