It's so hard for me to buy dresses that fit online, some dimension is usually way off... but this one was a total winner. It is designed to allow a variety of body variations to fit each size range: stretchy, ribbed fabric; a visually defined waist but no sewn-in belt line, and even finished-edge sleeves that cuff up neatly if they're too long for your arms. I normally am a size 2, which is often an XS. This dress sizing starts with S. But the sellers have a detailed and precise size chart in the photos that accompany the listing. Look carefully at that, not the dropdown you see near the price on the main listing itself. The photo size chart is really accurate. I measured and selected the Small. I am concluding the dress may run a little small, relative to standard sizes, so check the photo chart before choosing your size! I am a slim 5'5" and prefer my dresses to hit just about at the knee. This dress lands exactly there, as the photo chart measurements promised! Sleeves were a little long, so I turned them up. Since they are well-finished, it looks fine that way. The full placket is made with real buttons and buttonholes, so you have the option of wearing the dress with a few buttons open for a more casual look. The shape is "fit and flare," which is flattering for so many women. The white contrast trim gives a cheerful and slightly sporty look to the dress (I chose navy). It is extremely comfortable, and the weight and style can work throughout the year except for hot summertime. I will wear it in business casual settings, and for slightly dressed-up concerts and events. Although it arrived a little bit wrinkled, it straightened out in a few hours and can tolerate cool ironing if really necessary. I think it will be very packable and is certainly compact and comfortable for travel. Although this is not the biggest consideration, I was pleased that it came in a recyclable and reusable sturdy plastic bag with a strong "press to zip" closure, rather than just tear-to-open single-use packaging. I will use that bag for a while when traveling, and eventually recycle it. I have not washed the dress yet. I assume it will do fine, as it is synthetic and gently machine-washable, but if there are any issues I will quickly update this review after I wash the dress. This is a dress that is likely to flatter you if you pick the right size from the photo chart, which could possibly be one size larger than your usual size! There are some lighter color choices as well as black and navy. I am very pleased.

I ordered one size up--a size extra-large as opposed to my usual large--as I did not want this dress to be as short as it looks in photos. Boy, was I surprised, as this dress runs large. I'd suggest sizing down, as not only does the dress run large, but it also has plenty of stretch to it. The length is also not as short as shown, and in my case, comes to my knees. Even being bustier at a 38D, I was still able to button all of the buttons with no gaping or popping open. The dress is very well made and very soft and cozy. The solid color with contrasting trim looks so classy, and it is simply to change the look by layering with a shirt under the dress, as the dress has a nice line of buttons to allow a contrasting piece to peek out. Super cute with bare legs and flats, or with tights and boots. Yet another winner from Merokeety!

After reading some of the other reviews, I ordered this a size up, and I'm glad I did. It fits perfectly, still hugging all the right places, but not so snug as to look ridiculous. Unfortunately, the White with black piping version seems a bit see through, so unless you really don't care, this might work best with a slip underneath (do people still wear those?!). However, a slip is definitely not needed for the fabric itself. The sweater knit is nice and soft and although it's a little thin, it's still pretty warm. This is going to be a great fall addition to the wardrobe.

The Merokeety V-neck sweater dress is adorable! This sweater dress is made of soft ribbed knit and features a slimming pleated skirt, a smart button-up collar, contrasting white trim around the collar and hem, and elongated sleeves. The dress is fitted (but not in a clingy and uncomfortable manner), comfortable, and flattering. It looks good with heeled sandals, canvas sneakers, or tall (fitted calf) boots and is appropriate for business, casual, and social settings. I opted for the black, which is beautiful, and I may order another in a lighter fall color. If you are considering this dress, get it. It is a wonderfully made sweater dress that isn't too short or long and will look great across body types.

I'm a curvy girl at 5'5 and 192 pounds, and was so worried this dress would look frumpy on my frame. Instead it's incredibly cute and I can't wait for the cooler weather to arrive! Runs very true to size with a flattering fit: fitted up top through a high waist, then a bit of a flare. The material is a medium weight and very soft with a good amount of stretch. The buttons at the bodice are functional, and it can be unbuttoned to show off a necklace or a little cleavage. The overall look of the dress is very versatile, looking classy enough for an outing or a day at the office. On me the dress is a respectable knee-length. I plan to pair this with a wide black belt to accentuate the waist, and add accessories to lean more into the Wednesday Addams vibe.
