I really like this dress. The fabric is thick enough to provide some coverage, but not so heavy enough you cannot wear it in warmer weather. Except for real temperature extremes (at both ends), this is an all-season dress. The rib knit also keeps it from getting too clingy and smooths over some smaller bumps and lumps. However, be careful with sizing. I usually wear an 8 or 10, which is a large on the listing. But the size chart put me closer to an XL. The XL is form-fitting but not snug; the large would have probably showcased a few more lumps and bumps than I really want to. Otherwise, I really like the cut, which is a narrow silhouette, but still allows easy movement. The armholes do not gape; although I find them a little low, they are still fine, and that may be because I sized up. Looking forward to wearing this for date night. ... show more

This is a beautiful light blue! Close to what I expected based on the product pictures and previous reviews with pictures, but somewhat more gray. I still like it. This is my 4th sweater dress from this brand and I own a few tops from them too, so I knew I was getting a high quality knit ordering this. The size cannot really be an issue, given the knit is stretchy, but you can still size up or down, depending on your preferred fit. Their size chart is ridiculous though, as a typical S would be an XL according to it. At 5'5 and 130 lbs, I ordered an S, my regular size, and it fits great, but does show underwear lines a bit, so I wonder if an M would have been more forgiving and offer a bit more lenght. The dress hits well above my ankles and I am not that tall. Now that I more closely watched the product videos, you can see the underwear lines and every imperfection on the thinner model too. I will try it with no show underwear and updare the review if this changes. Overall, I am happy with the dress and plan to wear it on a date night with my husband later this week. I am super happy with the order of this dress. The material has a great weight to it, without being too heavy. It does give it a more casual vibe than some materials would have, but I like that, you can dress this up or down easily. The length is good on me, I'm 5'11" though, so it may be long for others who are shorter. The flare at the bottom is super flattering, balancing out my hips. I also love the high neck and the cap sleeve. I chose this dress because I was looking for a good travel option for this summer, and I think this is it. Easy to wear with pretty jewelry and heels for dinner, or sneakers and a blazer for a more museum vibe. This cap sleeve rib knit long sweater dress is a good basic piece for mild spring or fall weather or, layered with a jacket or shawl, maybe into even cooler temperatures. The size chart seems to give the measurements of the dress rather than the person the dress is intended to fit. My actual measurments fall between L and XL in the size chart, although I'm typically a U.S. womens size 4 or S. Still, I'm glad I ordered M rather than my usual S, as the dress is quite form fitting. I'll definitely wear it with shapewear to avoid obvious lines, lumps, and bumps from underclothes, and I'd also recommend avoiding the lighter colors if you might have similar concerns. ... show more

My wife wanted this dress and she says that it fits as advertised, the material is very soft and comfortable, and that she is very happy with the product. That being said, as her husband, I think she looks amazing in this, it is very flattering and I am really happy she chose it.

This dress is simple yet incredibly elegant. I was pleasantly surprised by the material—it's a light-ribbed sweater material that's both thick and lightweight. I decided to go a size larger because I wanted to avoid it being too tight. It turned out to be a great decision! The dress is incredibly flattering and accentuates all the right curves, thanks to opting for a larger size. Despite this, it still hugs the body beautifully, giving off a sleek silhouette. However, since it's a bodycon dress, any bulges or imperfections may show through. To address this, I invested in some new shapewear, which solved that problem perfectly. I've already washed it in a wash bag on a gentle cycle, and it came out just as perfect as it was before. I'm eagerly looking forward to wearing it to a wedding in a couple of months! Soft & stretchy, my daughter liked the feel. Because it is sweater material. I think it has a tendency to add weight to a body. My daughter is 5’6”, 125 lbs and very curvy. This shows off her tiny waist, because it’s formfitting, but seem to add weight in other places. She is wearing a size small.
