I got it in purple to make the boldest statement possible. It’s not really my kind of look, but that makes it all the more striking on me, if I do say so myself. I would not wear it in public. Other people may not be so squeamish though, and I think you won’t be disappointed in the splash you’ll make. The velour is fine, a bit thin I’d say. It’s plenty soft, in that velour way. And the inner seams aren’t finished with the highest quality tailoring. The fit is as expected: I’m 6’3” and usually get a large, and the pants are long enough, and the sleeves work with my long arms. I’d say it’s priced a little on the high side, for what you get. Again, not the thickest fabric, or best-finished tailoring. But it certainly makes an impression.

I'm not sure why anyone needs this tracksuit. But we got it for a friend so we could all wear tracksuits. It is a bit thinner martiwal than I would have liked, but it's plenty warm. We wear them for book club. The piping makes this look much higher end than it is. It is thin but not sheer, so that's nice. It also doesn't shed like some velour tracksuits. It fit true to size, a men's medium. There were no issues with length. The royal purple color makes a great statement piece.

My Thoughts: All right, I didn’t get this to go jogging in but hey, I don’t think you have to run in it. I actually got this as a pair of pajamas for myself because I have not found anything else that I like and I have literally been looking for years. (No joke) When I saw this, I thought it might work, even though it is not quite the right material. I was actually wrong, it is the right material for cold winter nights and I love it. It keeps me warm and is very soft and comfortable. I am sure I will have it for the rest of my life because I literally bought my last pair of pajamas over 30 years ago. Yes, it lasted me that long. I’m sure this one will too. Style: I like the style. I got the green set and it looks great on me. At least, I think so. haha Quality: So far it looks like it is great quality and as a pair of pajamas, I think it will last the rest of my life. : ) Fit: Fits me perfectly and is comfortable. Comfort: Ha, I have been saying it throughout. It is very comfortable. Softness: Very soft and nice to wear. I picked up this BASICDOT Velour Tracksuit in Navy (Large), and it looks fine once you have it on. The fit is actually pretty good—both the jacket and the pants sit well and provide a nice silhouette. However, the quality isn't quite what I was hoping for in terms of the actual hand-feel of the fabric. It’s not that the material is too thin, it just doesn't have that premium, soft velour feel I was expecting. It feels a bit more synthetic or "basic" than other tracksuits I’ve owned. It works well enough for lounging around or a quick casual outing, and the zippers and waistband seem functional, but the texture just isn't particularly impressive.
