Overall, happy with the shoes. My husband wears a size USA 9. However, this brand, and a few others, do not carry a 9 size! So I went with a 9.5 size. It was a bit too long in the toe area. The width was ok, but had to tighten up the lacings on one foot. The opening to slide the foot into the shoe was a little tight, but it has loosened up over the week. The red color is mixed with black threads to give a subtle red color. Attractive. The weave is not stiff. It is breathable. The ties are for decoration, but will tighten the sides. The sole is a white material. Not quite like regular athletic shoes. Maybe a little bit plasticy looking, but not bad. The upper material is a bit flimsier than regular jogging shoes. Overall, he is happy with the comfort and ease of putting on. Win, win! He says they are comfortable to wear. Truly my favorite pair of shoes. I do not have to tie the laces and can easily slip them on. They do require a pull/stabilization of the back tongue of the shoe, but being able to put them on without having to bend over saves me from vertigo due to low BP and the no laces is great with my tremors. I wear a size 8.5 in US Women's but have a high arch and wide feet, so generally prefer men's shoes. Due to the reviews regarding buying a size up, I purchased a size 8 and it has been perfect. These shoes fit me feet wonderfully and I generally feel like I have support, cushioning, and flexibility. The only gripe I have with these shoes is their durability. This is my second pair (yes I loved them that much) and I purchased them back in the spring. However, the sole beneath the ball of my foot has worn down so much that I will probably have to toss them. I can now feel absolutely every pebble under my feet and it is worn down enough that water leaks in through the sole. And the tread no longer exists to any extent. Overall, they fit and feel fantastic! But ... Honestly you may be better off spending your money elsewhere if you plan to wear them daily like me (I do not even walk a large amount). A shoe that doesn't even last a year probably is not worth the money. When they work they work! It is just that the timeframe for such working is entirely too small. ... show more

Needed a pair of shoes and came across these. Red the reviews and was like might as well give them a try. I originally bought the shoes for a everyone matches party. They are the most comfortable shoes I have owned in a long time. Super light weight, good quality(hope they last as they are comfortable to wear only time will tell) I have had these about 6 months. Not slip on, lip in back of heel is soft and won't let you slip on hands free. Also comes shipped with the lip folded down which is the last thing you want, to crease it. Laces do NOTHING! They are basically for show. Flimsy build. Certainly not for running or any sport. They are lightweight and soft, because they are cheaply made. JUNK! ... show more
