This feels snug at the chest area so maybe it would help with man boobs, but does absolutely nothing for the gut. It's like a tank top or a tight shirt. It just makes the gut look bigger like a balloon. At best the only use I could see this for is for poking nipples or slight man boobs when you're wearing a dress shirt or something.

Surprised to read some other reviews here saying the vest was too loose/big, so there could be a variation in actual physical sizes under the XL label according to the stock batch; those reviews caused me to mistakenly buy the XL instead of a much larger size. I get it these are meant to be tight fitting for the compression thing, but when I received this in a size XL it was way too small a fit - I could barely get it over my shoulders. I normally fit a size XXL shirt, depending on the cut. The XL size for this vest was so small that I doubt even an XXL size would have fitted. Also, the vest length was too short with the vest not reaching fully down to my waist - I am a normal height for the US. Maybe its an Asian or Italian fitting XL.

The media could not be loaded. I'm 6'3 230 lbs and bought and XL.. it's very comfortable while also sucking it in! Also feels like it helps my posture. I'm extremely happy with this purchase! Ppl saw my video and all said I looked great so it gets the job done!!! Nice quality, doesn't feel cheap or flimsy.
