I bought these shoes out of curiosity; how can they be real leather upper for $30? When they arrived they looked great, the color and sewing was excellent, even the outer sole is stitched to the upper, nice. The upper felt a bit fake, had that vinyl synthetic feel, faint smell of leather when left in warm car but not strong. Looked at under 10X magnification and can see pores/grain (have seen this printed/pressed on to mimic leather) final test the flame. Did the scratch test, it is marked now. I figured I was not going to return these so I put the lighter to the back strap, no melting/bubbling, guess this is leather. I have worn them few days and are very comfortable and soft. To me, these shoes feel more expensive than they were. The material is very nice and felt comfortable to walk around in. I didn't feel a tremendous amount in the way of support, but if you're not needing inserts or orthotics, I don't think you'll have a problem. I recommend.

I need good shoes. After back surgeries, hip surgery followed by a hip replacement, foot surgery, and countless other medical procedures, I just have to have good shoes. I wear size 10&1/2 and these fit perfectly. These are not poorly made but the insole is poor and the arch support is lacking. In ordering these, I thought they'd be a good option for shorts and a button down, a nicer summer look than when wearing t-shirts. You can't dress up these shoes with slacks. They don't look as nice as I'd expected. They do alright with jeans. Overall, these are an average pair of shoes that are offered at an average price.
